Happy 4th birthday to our Leo Mochi 🐾 Leo came into our lives during a really crazy season for us post-divorce when honestly we were all just trying to figure out our new normal and get through it day by day.
Then somehow this tiny puppy became such a huge part of our family and our healing without us even realizing it and he’s been with us through every version of this new chapter. He’s completely insane, annoys me daily, has endless energy, but we genuinely can’t imagine life without him now.

It’s early a.m+late-night emails, negotiating deals, decoding contracts with language only attorneys should understand, having some of the hardest conversations, putting out fires and being a problem solving master, being available 24/7 because you are the bridge between the dream and the deal. It’s many times believing in someone when they can’t see it yet. Most people will never see the behind-the-scenes hustle. I think sometimes people think I’m sitting here twiddling my thumbs 😂 I work 7 days a week and do it while juggling my kiddos’ school homework, carpooling to soccer and dance while taking zoom calls from my car or the line at an amusement park. You have to always be on and ready to make sh*t happen. This business isn’t for everyone and I consider it to be a calling. It is not always glamorous, maybe not at all… and it can be thankless, but God do I LOVE IT.
