Exactly one year ago today, The Okoro Egbo Clan lost our patriarch, Late HRH IGWE Patrick Okoro Egbo ( Ezeoha 1 na Amofia Amagu, Nara Unateze) and I lost my most dear daddy. Some days it’s still hard to believe that you’re no longer here with us physically, but I take solace in the knowledge that you are flying high with the angels and watching over us. This season of my life has been the hardest and finding the right words of late has proven near impossible. Dad was truly an amazing, wonderful, charismatic, enigma of a man. He was a larger than life figure in my life and that of my siblings. An UNQUESTIONABLE Iroko tree. To speak of him now in the past tense is quite heart breaking but I know he is in a better place and watching over us🕊 Thanks dad for showing my siblings and I what it means to be first and foremost, a great and present father. You exemplified how to have integrity, to be honest, forthright, kind, firm but loving, hardworking, full of wisdom, fun & funny, cool & collected as they come, a fierce community leader and advocate, a great king, and a quintessential man of the people!
