Being at the helm of a production seems lonely, but it is actually the collaborative process that is such a joy to be a part of. I love starting the work alone, analyzing the text and then watching it grow exponentially as you add input from the artists and other creatives in the room. I've learned that the magic happens when you successfully communicate the vision and spine of the piece so that every member of the "village" it takes to mount a production is on board. Whether solo directing or assistant/associate directing, it's the rehearsal process I enjoy the most. The journey that is messy and exploratory, but leads to beautiful moments of discovery and truth. #theatredirector #femaledirector #regionaltheatre #MusicalTheatre

I've performed all over at regional theatres, theme parks, on tour and cruise ships. Some favorite performance credits include Lucy (Bright Star), Betty Jean (Wonderettes, Winter Wonderettes), Nina (In the Heights), Sister Mary Robert (Sister Act), and Jovie (Elf). #actor #actorlife #swingnation #MusicalTheatre #cruiseshiplife #raiseyourvoice #performerlife

As a lifelong learner who is continually evolving, teaching and mentoring are second nature to me. I've worked as an educator both independently and within various schools/theatre organizations with diverse programming and unique socio-economic populations. My personal and professional lived experiences have given me a strong toolbox to pull from when working with students of any age or level of experience. My goal is to cultivate a space that encourages growth and exploration. Theatre should reflect the world around us, and we can only do that by enriching the field with a broader range of voices and perspectives. What do I bring to the table? I specialize in working with pre-professionals navigating their entry into the business. I guide young performers as they sieve through the noise and discover their artistic voices. Let a few of them tell you. ⬅️ #theatreeducation #theatreeducator #MusicalTheatre #mtmajors #theatretraining #theatregoals #mentor #payitforward

#happythankyoumoreplease 2025 was full of adventures, art, and love shared with beautiful people. The juxtaposition of that joy with the grief and the state of the world reminds me that we must squeeze every bit of life out of the time we have. πŸ’œβœ¨ This was a year of taking leaps, of shedding, of throwing spaghetti and embracing uncertainty. I'm looking forward to seeing what sticks.

πŸ¦‚ Scorpio Season ✨ A few years ago I quit making birthday wishes and began making commitments. Tangible things I can hold myself accountable for that will help bridge the gap between where I am and where I want to be. Every now and then I share em to both push myself to follow through and maybe inspire someone else. πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€οΈ Building a balanced life that is intentional, rich and authentic ain't easy, and with every new spin around the sun I'm trying new ways to get there. 🌞β†ͺ️Up next: I will live more audaciously. I will dream big, and then I'll stand in my power as a woman, artist, and human. I will learn to say no to opportunities that aren't for this season. I will not feel bad about saying no. I'll appreciate and seek out more joy with the people who bring it into my life. I will not be afraid to have hope. I will love on my people. I'll send the text/meme/Tiktok that makes me think of you, even if we haven't talked in ages. l'll keep showing up. I will have a kind voice. I'll stand on the right side of history. I'll be medium corny/cringe/woo woo. 🌱 That's a lot to do, better hop on it!

We should be sitting at the table eating cake. Exhausted from dancing and laughing and a little too much wine. You'd be sleepy by now. I don't know if this gets any easier... it's been a year and I still have so many emotions. There's no roadmap for this, and I've chosen to celebrate and honor you by LIVING. And I mean really living: fully, wholeheartedly and with music and joy, and I'm amazed at how I've managed (thank you for that strength) but damn it if today ain't hard. The lack of your light is palpable. Feliz cumples, Mamasita.πŸ’œ We should be sitting at the table eating cake.

πŸ¦πŸŒ‰βœ¨ HEY, AUGUST πŸ‘‹πŸ½ This month I've begun working on The Artist's Way for the very first time, and one of the passages that resonated deeply with me was about the correlation between audacity and success. I also happen to be working on setting intentions for the latter half of the year, and if I want to be: *Checks journal* πŸ”Έin rooms that challenge me, surrounded by people I respect πŸ”Έa better version of myself than I thought was possible Then I suppose we have to start living a little more AUDACIOUSLY. Time to climb cringe mountain, I guess. Challenge accepted. 🫑 #theartistsway #liongateportal #happythankyoumoreplease #audacity

πŸ•΅πŸ½β€β™€οΈ Spooky Summer βœ… Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap 🐁 now playing at the *stunning* historic Colonial Theatre. Thanks to @berkshiretheatregroup and @mayorgerrymac for bringing me along for the ride. If you hear any creepy whispers in the mezz don't be alarmed, it's probably just me running lines. This is my first time swinging a play- and let's just say that songs are easier to memorize πŸ˜….
