Missing Asia. I loved living in Singapore and visiting Malaysia with ease. Thailand was a trip. I am never going to forget riding on the back of a scooter in the humid hot rain while feeling a bittersweet happiness for where I’m at in life. In all sincerity, it is silly how I was there for crypto week while juggling grad studies and teaching yoga/meditation… Discomfort via travel allows growth and new perspectives that bring on a slew of emotions. These emotions are both positive and negative… truly yin and yang with room for the grey in between that allows the genuine to shine. Time to book a flight soon? Absolutely yes.
Oh and btw the underground music/art/fashion scene in Asia is hot 🥵 do not sleep on it.

I was not anticipating loving LA so much after I moved here a few years ago. Meeting people who really are moving the needle forward in music/community/life has been such a joy to experience and I’m honored to be a member.
I am constantly inspired and always grateful for the underground communities I’ve been immersed in along my travels yet there truly is nothing like @thebasementla . Last months party was so special as we celebrated @me.djkerry and had @dickytrisco making us all feel the love & joy we very much need on the dance floor (and just in general).
My heart is so full all over again after developing this roll. The Basement is really one of a kind and the team behind it truly curates magic. Thank you all ✨❤️ (sorry for all those I didn’t tag there’s just too many friends eek).
