Wrapping up our corflute recycling program after the State Election. Around 20,000 signs being sent for recycling, including a few golden oldies from peoples back sheds.
I’m really pleased to let you know that Planet Press, one of Sydney’s best printing companies, has joined the Jeffries Printing group.
Planet Press is an A1 printer with huge inhouse capacity. Jeffries has always been a nimble A3/A2 print and mail operation. Combined, with close to thirty staff and the ability to take on any job in Australia, we’re much bigger and stronger.
The two companies will continue to trade independently from their current premises – Jeffries in Revesby and Planet in Milperra.
I will be managing director for both, and we’ll share staff and production, but we’ll be asking some of our Jeffries customers to transition over to Planet Press so they can take advantage of Planet’s larger team.
We’re hoping to be under the same roof by June 2023, but we’re taking our time.
Planet was founded in 1958 and has been run for most of that time by the Marsh family. That connection will continue as the previous owners Russell and Wendy Marsh will be staying on, with Russell moving to the role of Sales Manager.
It’s an incredibly exciting time for all of us and I can’t wait to see just how far we can go.
