Today was my first time to the Atlantic Ocean in winter. Under all these costs, hats, scarves, and gloves, if you look hard enough, you might just perhaps catch a glimpse of a few human beings.

It’s 1:30 am, and I just arrived in Boston to give a talk “Translation as Kaijuology: Uncovering Godzilla and Mothra’s Monstrous Origin Stories” tomorrow at Boston University’s Translation Studies Lecture Series.
