Two horses in the top 10 at my first 5* has been surreal! So incredible and so many thank you’s to come! For now, the boys are home safe and will enjoy a well deserved break!

🏆🏆 SYDNEY INTERNATIONAL CCI4*L CHAMPIONS!! 🏆🏆
Santoro has pulled through the goods! What a horse! Adding just 0.4 penalties for a second overtime in show jumping to his dressage score of 30.8, he finished on 31.2 in a hotly contested class! The last 18 months we have been through some testing times but we have persevered and he has come out the other side stronger than ever!
There is a huge team behind me that make all of this possible and there will be more thank you’s to come but for now the biggest thank you must go to the Santoro Syndicate. Lisa, Karen and Andrea are all amazing people to work with and the trust they put in me to produce Sammy is so greatly appreciated!
The hard work has been rewarded here and Sammy is on a well deserved holiday now but I’m already excited and looking towards next year and getting him back out even better!

What an event the ZEEP. @mi3de was! This mare’s outstanding results this year earned her a placed in the Australian Senior Team for the Oceania 2022 Championships and it was a great experience to be a part of this!
So many people to thank for this opportunity - firstly the unwavering belief that Fiona Mitchell has in both me and this horse is second to none.
To Mum and Michele for looking after both horses so well all week.
To Janet Houghton, all of those involved in organising, sponsoring and running the event as well as the army of volunteers – thank you. There is no feeling like competing at this event and to do it this time wearing the Australian colours was unreal.
I am very grateful to the @ausequestrianteam and @equestrianaus , along with the High Performance team and all their staff for their work and support. The coaching from Bettina Hoy was next level and we took away so much from the whole experience.
When I was selected for the team I was asked to provide a quote for the rider profiles and I struggled with this one, but during the showjumping last day of competition the saying “Lose with Dignity, Win with Pride” sprung to mind - I really had to dig deep and immerse myself to get the most out of those moments and remind myself of everything I had gained by being there, I am very proud to have been a part of it all.
Most of all I am really looking forward to being back in that position, only next time I plan to be on a horse and riding around in that victory lap next to my team mates!!

Frosted Darkness 🥇 At only his second eventing start Ted was great in all 3 phases showing his quality finishing on his dressage score of 30.0 penalties and winning his EvA80 section!
Cascabel tackled the CCN1* class and while the score on the board was not pretty we had a lot to take away from the event. This horse is so talented and has such a bright future but it’s hard to remember he is still only 6!
I also had Santoro there for some 4* dressage practice and was stoked with the effort he put in scoring 32.9 penalties which would have him in the lead in that class!
