75 A week well-spent on the Monterey Peninsula celebrating 75 sensational years of the @lpga_tour . One of the most storied histories in sports, the LPGA has persevered through the impossible, to preserve a remarkable legacy that will carry for generations. The greatest names in women’s golf - past, present, and future - ambled some of the most wondrous, and historically important, fairways in all of golf - laughing, telling stories, dreaming about the future, and inspiring the next generation of girls golf. I call it one of the greatest honors of my career to have walked alongside the LPGA over the last few seasons. I’ve never been more proud of any organization like I am of the lean, scrappy, passionate and gifted group of people that make up the LPGA - all of whom I consider family. If you aren’t paying attention yet, you should. The Ladies game is as strong as ever, and taking the world by storm. Here’s to the next 75 years, and the next 1 million girls to be inspired to greatness in golf.

The @usopengolf , @usga ’s 1,000th Championship, was as dramatic and epic as we all hoped it would be. Highest of highs and lowest of lows, the wildest of shots, bunker splashes, clipped branches, psychotic fans, and the hottest air. We stared adversity in the face and prevailed. A billion steps and a trillion terabytes later, here is a compilation of what my @freeflysystems Ember and @sonyalpha cameras saw. Blessed beyond measure to get to call this my career. Thankful to the entire USGA organization and fellow media and creator teams for the opportunities and hangs. • Watch all 60 seconds, I dare you. See you inside the ropes sooner than later.

Throwback to the mood that was the 2020 U.S. Amateur at @bandondunesgolf . This was the week that set in motion a trajectory I never dreamed of in my career. I was hired last minute based on my tour caddy experience, some photos I shot for fun during the 2015 IS Open practice rounds, and because I was local (6 hour drive). In typical Marsh Lie fashion, the week was total chaos. A bad crash closed the interstate and my rental gear didn't arrive for day one so I had to shoot a network rules piece with an iPhone 6 and a Mavic Pro (first gen.). Wife and I were trying to close on a house that had hit 70+ days pending and needed miracle after miracle (freelance life). I can still feel the Rona Q tip pole-vaulting into my skull through my nose (passed out in the Bandon parking lot during test number 2 on my arrival day). The wind was a sustained 4 clubber all week. Howling. The final round was nearly postponed because players couldn't see the greens due to fog, and spotters were used on every shot. I got locked out of my room on the final night at 1am after editing the recap film, the overnight desk person was new and couldn't help, but security guy let me in on good faith. The Bandon phone lines crashed because the world was seeing Bandon for the first time on network the place had been booked solid since. And the few of us that got to be in the bubble witnessed a truly spectacular week of championship golf. The USGA became my first big client in golf that week, and that would be the first of 15+ USGA Championships I've covered. I would fly to Winged Foot 12 days later to capture one of the more bizarre, and epic, golf championships in history (no fans at a U.S. Open). Man that week at Bandon was chaos. I faced all sorts of adversity, and was afraid I'd never be asked back. But having lived in survival mode every day of my life at that point had its perks. I thrive under pressure. The more chaos, the more focused I get, and more freely I shoot. Life ain't easy. But when you fight through the really hard stuff, you get to the good stuff. Onward.

Back to back wins for the World No.1. @nellykorda !!

Commons, the latest gem to the collection of golf found at @sandvalleygolf , dropped their logo this week, designed by the incredibly gifted @oliviaherrickdesign . Immediately in the running for one of the best golf logos in recent history. Commons is a 12 hole course that features more fun than should be allowed on a golfing course. I'm not biased because it is home to one of the greatest par-saves I've ever made, I just love the place. It's so much fun. Make sure it's on your next Sand Valley itinerary.

CHAMP!! @nellykorda wins the 26 Chevron Championship at Memorial Park in Houston. What a week. Mega heat, mega rain, mega fans, all-time major vibes! Beyond grateful for this life. What a journey it's been to get here. A wild road that I wouldn't have necessarily chosen, but every step has been worth it for moments like this. My wildest dreams never brought me back inside the ropes again twenty years after caddying. And kid Jeff never dreamt anything like this. He just wanted to survive. If I can make it here, surviving abuse, trauma, depression, anxiety, ADD, PTSD, many career changes, and the hardest of odds, so can you. Takes a ton of work, no quitting, no excuses, first on last off always, a ton of kindness, serving clients above and beyond, last nights, mega exhaustion, and a faithful God. I have the utmost gratitude for @thechevronchampionship and the entire @lpga_tour fam for believing in me, and allowing me to do what I do best. Thank you to @rydertrkulaphoto and @dk_golfs for serving your hearts out as the raddest interns around. I've had the honor of documenting @nellykorda 's career over the last 6 years. I've watched her battle through the lowest of lows, never quitting, relentlessly persevering, staying true to herself, and reaching the highest of highs. Mega proud of you, Nelly. Thankful for you and @jasonmcdede allowing me in to journey alongside you, tell your story, call you friends, and treating me like family. I've never hoisted a trophy, but sure feels like I just won a Major. If you want something bad enough, do whatever it takes, no matter what people tell you, to reach your wildest dreams.
