Seeing Together is back back back again,
This time we meet Sunday the 10/05/2026 at @thegreencorridor.brussels
Seeing Together is a ciné club with a focus on watching together. By watching together I am interested in the new perspectives and ways of seeing that are unlocked. Seeing Together is not only about watching films, but also about the discussion that happens after the watching. What do these films do with and for each other, and with and for you/us?
This session is about framing reality. Through duration, observation and movement the camera constructs a frame in which a reality takes place. These works reveal how cinema creates the realities it claims to document. The frame breaks, and time becomes flexible. We are confronted by the construction of what we call "real".
Across these films, the camera holds a gaze—on labor, on landscape, on language and on absence.
On the program:
Sharon Lockhart - NO
Edwardo Williams - Parsi
Fairuz Ghammam- Oumoun
Bo Verpoten - You Have Become a Camera
Practical information:

Great news, Seeing Together is returning on 15/02/26 at @thegreencorridor.brussels
Seeing Together comes from the need to create a space in which the whole is formed by everyone present: a group of people who love the moving image and who collectively share a carefully curated selection of films.
The core belief of Seeing Together is that there is a unique power in collective viewing. Watching films in a shared space unlocks new perspectives and ways of seeing; it brings together different pieces of the puzzle. Seeing Together is not only about watching films, but also about the discussion that follows. These discussions are not meant to analyze the films in a historical way, but to explore what they did to you as a body, as a whole. It is about discussing, questioning, and re-evaluating these experiences. Through this process, I aim to reimagine what it means to experience cinema together.
As it is the time of year, this screening session focuses on (un)love and (un)desire. Across a selection of films, love is no longer a private feeling, but something that is shared and fought for. Love and desire are shaped by who looks, who speaks, and who controls the image. Love is made and unmade, shared and unshared. Together, these works show love as attention, risk, and agency, something that unfolds through bodies and voices, but also through the images of cinema itself.
On the program :
Un chant d'amour - Jean Genet
Dyketactics - Barbara Hammer
Fear of Disclosure - David Wojnarowicz, Phil Zwickler
Sex Bowl - Shu Lea Cheang
She Don't Fade - Cheryl Dunye

Love and warm greetings, Jeff & The Green Corridor
Here for the, 53 Dictator (2025) uses the same slow, tactile process as Queer Prepositions, embroidering on tracing paper to create fragile, tile-like surfaces on which yes and no appear as if carved into shifting earth. These words become commands, permissions, hesitations, each stitched letter carrying the weight of decision and the vulnerability of its making. Here, yes and no move between authority and tenderness, certainty and doubt, revealing how binary words can slip, soften, and resist the roles they are meant to impose.
Here for the 49, my first proposal for a new project entitled Queer Prepositions. Grateful to @thegreencorridor.brussels not only for the invitation, but also for the trust, warmth, and openness shown to me and to all the other artists invited for In Proximity.
