TWO WEEKS: Our main squeeze @jeffgrantphd is over the moon to celebrate his 58th birthday on FRIDAY 3/27 @southgaterollerrink with three of his bands: SHRKLGST, hard rock heavies @johnnynails and @theshakedownbandseattle , the best event band in the country.

He also understands that a show starting at 9 is late for many of his friends, so he has stipulated that all three bands will play from 9-11 and be done with it. I mean who are we kidding, right? Mornings should be enjoyable.

WTF: some bands on here make a lot of sense. Cohesive sound, cohesive look, cohesive social media strategy. We tried but we just don’t think we can pull that off. We are a WTF band. No two songs alike. Songs change from the record to the live version. It’s a little all over the place. Just like us really - a psychologist, a woodworker, a studio engineer, a jazz piano player, and a couple of guys who couldn’t stand tech anymore.

🎄DECK THE HALLS🎄: it started as a funny quip from @billydisaster ; “ did you ever notice how you can swap in the lyrics to ‘deck the halls’ into ‘war pigs’ by #blacksabbath?’” We hadn’t ever noticed that - but once we did it lit our brains on fire and we just KNEW we had to bring Billy’s vision to life.
Last year Jeff did a green screen version for IG…but it just wasn’t good enough #hardtruth
So, next week, we are dropping our Sabbath-y, delightful hateful version of “Deck The Halls.” Set to ruin christmases everywhere, forever. But you hate your family so it’s fine #morehardtruths
