This week has been nothing short of phenomenal. Opportunities keep flowing, and I’m just riding the wave with gratitude.
Ya boy stepped into BET for the first time ever not just as a guest, but as a host. @bet celebrated 45 years in the game and 25 years of the BET Awards, and I had the honor (alongside @sita_world ) of co-hosting their first-ever live Twitch stream with none other than the streaming king himself, @ddg
We went LIVE for a special playback segment called #BlameTheChat and trust me, it was one for the books.
yes I got caught up in a food conversation, even the Empanada Mama made the cut lol.
I’m humbled to be part of these historic moments. Sometimes I can’t even explain how things are aligning so effortlessly… then I remember: the intentions were set, the vision was written literally on my 2021 vision board. And now it’s all continues to unfold.
Grateful. Inspired. Just getting started.
Also how could ever forget!! The lord my brother the playmaker @silvasoundz for reminding me it’s only God!!!
WOW!!! I remember getting adopted at age 13 by the Brown family. Now turning 31 I realize this was the best/worst day of my life. I would finally be apart of a family I could call my own, no more going from home to home anymore, like I was some type of lost package! Waited hours for my biological mother to show up this day, she seemed happy the last time we talked on the phone. Till this day many questions run through my brain. How could she really take this moment from me? Was she too high on that day? When Ms. Brown spoke to her was it the choice of words she used to never allow her to return? Am I just seen as a check? Was I really not good enough? A disgrace? A big mistake? Should I have been aborted? What is LOVE if the person that birth me, still hasn't shown up after 18 years?

So going in year 8 of doing this show, I asked myself. what better ways to give back?
Over the past few months, me and A Few Friends have been volunteering our time with an organization that supports families facing food insecurity. Being there, seeing it up close, we realized something important…
Showing up matters.
But funding is what allows the work to grow.
So this time, I’m using my platform to give back in a bigger way.

This performance is my life story, told through comedy, music, and truth. From navigating foster care, to being adopted, to everything that shaped who I am today.
It will make you laugh.
It will make you think.
And it will connect you to something real.
Proceeds will directly support PATHHSEO, a Bronx nonprofit that provides weekly food pantries, hot meals, and essential resources to families in need.
So when you support you are not just attending a performance.
You are helping feed families.
