*APPRECIATION NOTE*
It is with a deep sense of gratitude and fulfillment that I extend my sincere appreciation to the Nigerian Medical Association for the privilege to serve as the First Vice President over the past tenure. This opportunity has been both humbling and inspiring, and I remain grateful for the trust reposed in me.
Working closely with the President, I have contributed to advancing the shared vision of strengthening our great Association. Together, we have pursued initiatives aimed at improving the welfare of our members and enhancing the relevance of the NMA in national discourse.
I am particularly proud to have initiated the NMA Medical Healthcare Expo 1.0 and 2.0, platforms that showcased innovation, collaboration, and the immense potential within Nigeria’s healthcare ecosystem.
Furthermore, I had the honour of leading the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) process, achieving significant progress in the Professional Allowances Table (PAT) and securing new allowances for our members
.
In strengthening the Association’s financial standing, I leveraged the NMA brand to raise funds in millions, ensuring the successful execution of key events and programs. Through strategic and often quiet engagements with government, I also worked passionately to address challenges affecting our affiliate bodies, including NARD, MDCAN, ANPMP, and others.
Legislatively, I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to 37 bills at the National Assembly within the last two years, notably supporting the successful passage and signing into law of the retirement age increment for doctors.
As I reflect on this journey, I extend my profound appreciation to the President and members of the National Officers’ Committee (NOC) for their support, collaboration, and the opportunity to serve at this level. I also thank the entire NMA family for their encouragement and shared commitment to progress.
It has been an honour to serve.
Thank you.

Immediate Past First Vice President

Doctors in Nigeria don't get paid properly; they are not given the value they give to the economy and state. Currently, there are 3 doctors to 12,000 patients in Nigeria. They are burnt out, and some die on duty.

MORNING BOOST :
Friendship is more valuable than money. So, when you meet rich and powerful people, dont go after their money. Go after their friendship. Learn their ways. Earn their confidence. A friend of the wise becomes wise. A friend of the rich becomes rich
Each time you are happy, note the people you are with and you will identify those whose company makes you happy. Increase your joy level by regularly seeking their company. Life is too short to spend even a second with those who make you unhappy.
Good Morning. Wishing You a Lovely Day

*MORNING BOOST*
On your journey to success, obstacles will always present themselves. That is why jumping is essential to success. When obstacles present themselves, jump over them. Don't have debates with the obstacles in your life. Instead, transcend them.
Visualizing your success before it happens helps your mind prepare to realize the success you visualized. Spend a few minutes daily seeing yourself not as you are, but as you want to be. Muhammad Ali started saying 'I am the greatest', before he became the greatest.

MORNING BOOST :
No matter how good a seed is, it’s dependent on having good soil. You have to be selective with whom you give your time, energy and attention.
Get around dreamers, connect with people that are more talented, more successful, more experienced and glean from them. That’s good soil.
Good Morning. Wishing You a Lovely Day.
