Fahad Aljebreen is a visual artist and an assistant professor at the College of Art Education at King Saud University in Riyadh. He holds a PhD in Visual Culture from the University of North Texas.

Saudi artist, sculptor, and art educator Fahad Al-Jebreen, who has been part of the Tuwaiq community since last year, returns to the fifth edition of Tuwaiq Sculpture as an associate curator.
Al-Jebreen, also an Assistant Professor at King Saud University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, holds a Ph.D. in Visual Culture from the University of North Texas, USA, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Museum Education from the same university. Throughout his career, Al-Jebreen has participated in various art exhibitions and sculpture symposiums, including the Alwan Group in Riyadh and the One Idea Exhibition at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Hall.
In 2023, Al Jebreen created ‘Meeting Point’, a sculpture rooted in concepts of unity and human connection. We caught up with the artist against the backdrop of Saudi artist Talal Tukhaes’ piece, and he shared insights into his intentional inclusion of more Saudi artists and his reflections on the differences between last year’s and this year’s symposium.
