This was all about dialing it in🤞🏻 Playing this game of tricking your body to learn to keep pushing when you’re uncomfortable. chasing that pavement people breathing behind your shoulder. Strategizing water stations, learning to throw hydration or be part of hydration. Every tangent or jumping on any stride to get you closer to the finish. Almost there means miles away and ignoring the outside noise, but acknowledging the positive energy when somebody calls you your name. This is the sounds of Brooklyn half marathon. Today it’s officially summer in New York. This morning I traded in my sweatshirt for some sunblock. Got on the line was able to dial it in with some familiar faces. Running with some great talent, but also strategizing a plan to not give within. The gun went off the pursuit of the pace started. With the first couple miles pretty chaotic some casualties on mile two.Increased heart rate on mile five. And then trying to run from the sun on ocean Parkway. Dialing it in on a rhythm to not give up too much but also to take a little bit. With 2 miles to go trying to put down my favorite carbohydrates to keep the energy systems in checked. But somehow stride was slowly contracting. Super happy with the two weeks of recovery from Oklahoma City and coming back with force to Brooklyn. After finishing Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon this year. It has inspired me to keep chasing this 26.2 distance. With each mile as a celebration but also a consistency of growth and grit. #runtoremember Photo by @chrisbarne #oklahomamemorialmarathon #adidasrunning #gothedistance #keeprunning

What a day I’m so happy to be back in Oklahoma, but also to see so much excitement in the community. It was a complete honor to come back and see some familiar faces. With the community and the energy of the city it made the marathon feel like a big celebration. I went out super conservative to be able to complete my challenge of that 26.2 distance. This was definitely a run to remember and it reminds me that there’s a lot of good in this world. 2:56:12 29th overall Second masters overall. #runtoremember #letsmarathon #adidasrunning #runtoinspire

With certain experience and past capabilities. What influences you to grow when you have already passed your time to Blum! With the time pressing down on you. You decide to not be one of those casualties. Saturday I achieved one of my goals to win the masters category for the Boston marathon 5K. With working at the expo and putting all my passion into the community. And help providing these Boston Marathon athletes, one of the best three stripes experiences. I was able to accomplish my goals this week. To provide the best experience for the athlete. Thank you, Boston. Keep being Boston strong.🫰🏻 16:30 first overall masters 1.5:15 2.5:14 3.5:17 64th overall #masterrunner #adidasrunning #bostonmarathonexpo #masterfast

With a little spring, looking forward to throwing it down on Boylston Street. Chasing that Masters 5K title. Each breath and glance over my shoulder, looking to outrun father time. And keep whoever has a Sunday reflection behind me. Photo by keefshoots #masters5k #bostonbaa5k #adidasrunning #chasedown #runfast

What does it look like when you have passion for sport? It kind of goes like this. You wake up you lace up your shoes get the blood flowing endorphins going, and you become a part of your environment. When you’re a part of your environment, you influence other’s to change, but also to grow. #loveofRunning #adidasproducteducator #adidasrunning #growingyourcommunity

Within a less than a month ago, we have the Boston Marathon 5K on the radar. This year I have taken a different mindset. Coming to understanding where I need to enjoy the sport of running and just dial-in. I’ve had some couple successful years of pushing myself and getting to the next level. I feel like this next step of enjoyment is going to make the most of each mile going forward. Photo by @framedbyfather #enjoythenextmiles #adidasrunning #runfast #goforit #moremiles

After the great Unthaw of New York winter. We have about six weeks until the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon. My goal is to get on the line, completely healthy and run that 26.2 Run to Remember.❤️ This is one of my favorite events. Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon raises money for the victims and the survivors of 1995 April 19 bombing. This event brings the community together the true Oklahoma values. looking forward to lacing up my shoes April 26 to Run to Remember.
