♫ Songs and Tunes from the Sculpture Studio ♫ 🎨🎻 Join us for a rare evening with two acoustic playing friends, blending music, art, and the spirit of community gathering in an intimate creative space. Brendan will share select songs from his recent record Songs from San Miguel, along with brand-new compositions inspired by his month-long writing stay in Nashville in January 2026. He’ll be joined by Venezuelan-born flatpicking guitarist Josy Rosales — a Front Range favorite and staple of the Colorado bluegrass scene. Josy is a member of Bear Hat and leader of the Josey Rosales Bluegrass Band. The two friends share a love of Americana music and especially the pastime of pickin’ fiddle tunes, of which they will debut new works as well as “traditional” standards. This special performance takes place inside Loveland fixture Joey Bainer’s Sculpture Studio — a one-of-a-kind setting surrounded by inspiring works of art. The evening will include a potluck dinner (guests are encouraged to bring a dish to share) and a cozy outdoor campfire, weather permitting. Settle in, relax, and let the melodies spark your imagination. Tickets are limited to just 25 guests and will go quickly. Available in the link in bio. 📸🎞️ @hbzp_ 💛 #coloradobluegrass #bouldermusicscene

“WW1 Choctaw code talker” facing our selves, facing our friends, facing our cultures, facing our fears, facing our adversary, facing our desires, facing disparity, facing elation, facing deprivation, facing the facts, facing the lies, Facing success, facing failure … facing our government…. It’s all about going toward whatever is in front of us, instead of pretending it’s different or like it’s happening to us rather than through us…. It is what it is… Ramble on

(Original clay) For those who have served and serve in sacrifice for our country and our allies, thank you! Also thanks to @loweshomeimprovement for supporting our troops through their veterans program…. I feel incredibly fortunate to exist with the freedom I have and for the many reasons why that is possible. One thing that is for certain, it wouldn’t be possible without all who serve and give their lives selflessly. I had a great time creating this with @georgewlundeen and @spspsparky @stevenbarber8138 always a blast in the studio and huge thanks to our team who did an amazing job completing the bronze, another post come!! @cole___blooded @doooobiedoooo @isaiahplatzek @b.mullinix1969 @olivia_holland_lundeen

Looking back, this project was really great for me at the time and place… it was outside my normal scope of study, comfort zone and honestly pretty stressful creatively. Uncomfortable scenarios are often the best place to exist.. they initiate growth in character, understanding and require a departure from our usual outlook. In General the best options don’t appear how we want or wish them to and they don’t feel great in the present moment. We can’t always trust how we feel, from us our feeling will steal! Buffalo always walk into the storm… they get it! When we lean into uncomfortable scenarios we start to become more comfortable being uncomfortable because we see the growth and light on the other side… Interesting dichotomy!! Feeling is very important, even integral for expression, relation and creativity etc but wisdom is equally important and leaves feeling aside for understanding from prior experience and leads to more freedom to “feel” the truth. Love yall..If we feel uncomfortable its means the opportunity to grow is in the palm of our hands 🎶🧘🏼🔥☕️❤️ let F’ing go! It ain’t easy. Thank god

Conceptualizing today for a potential project (central “clay pinch model” sketch) Feeling very fortunate in this life to have the friends/ family (too many to list) I have had to learn from, be inspired and challenged by in the sculpture realm and beyond… Paying attention and asking questions was something I learned early on. My folks drilled the “pay attention and ask questions ” part in my head and the cliche’ “never give up” when you set a goal. The more we give up, the easier it is to give up. The opposite is also true. Perseverance is def. more rewarding… The Lundeens specifically have fielded thousands of my questions and provided opportunity with humility. The only thing I know for sure is that I don’t know anything for sure. Growth is a constant process, not a destination. Staying humble is extremely important and when we are afraid to ask questions, it’s probably the most important time for us to do so! Asking a good question is one of the most creative things we can do. I’m sure Ive annoyed many of my mentors with endless questions a time or ten. 🫠🤣Still working to improve my question asking skills, never stops… #sculpture #lovelandcolorado #love #creativity

exactly a week ago my Step Bro and I were carrying the first half of this feller on our backs through the pitch dark woods lit by our head lamps. We made it back to camp at about 10:30. It was a perfect day…. The woods were so quiet, we heard every pine cone the squirrels broke loose as they ricocheted from branch to branch tumbling toward the ground below with a final thud, it was serene. I could tell a real long winded story but to keep it sweet we ended up getting into elk mid afternoon and through a series of plays/ moves and hustles everything came together just right all the way down to the point where this elk was almost straight on facing me at 25 yds looking at me/ through me. Dusty didn’t hesitate and made a quick cow mew call from behind. Immediately and to my relief this bull was distracted by the lady cow (dusty) that he had his heart set on and looked away from me and at that moment I drew my bow, rested my sites on his chest just below his neck between his front shoulders and released! not sure it could’ve been better placed, he ran uphill no more than 30 yards Turned hard left and fell over dead in front of my eyes. About as clean as you can get. What a beautiful experience along side my step bro and now we have very blessed freezers for a good while. 🧘❤️🏹 huge thanks Dusty for the impeccable calling and time spent and to my step Pops Boyd for the excellently tuned bow and the amazing arrows he built for me that fly like a dream. Also a lot of gratitude to @coltonmullinix for his shared wisdom over some years and putting up with my ass, guiding me through dead fall with quite a few close encounters where I probably should have had sealed the deal that he has never given me a hard time for… Thats elk hunting… it’s difficult… it takes alot of blood, sweat, tears, hard work and usually some beers to numb the pain… 🩸💦😭🍻 @wild970 @archeryinthewild .
