For North Texas Giving Day 2024, I supported @girlsincdallas Girls Inc. of Metropolitan Dallas! With the help of everyone who donated, I was able to reach my donation goal of $1000!
Girls Inc. of Metropolitan Dallas provides essential programs in STEM, leadership, and entrepreneurship, helping girls to become strong, smart, and bold. Serving girls of low-income and under-resourced areas of Dallas, their afterschool, summer camps, and partner-based programs provide girls with life-changing experiences and solutions to navigate gender, economic, and social barriers to grow into healthy, educated, and independent women.
Ever since first being introduced to Girls Inc. during my childhood, I’ve heard countless stories from my mother and grandmother of their time with Girls Inc. and how impactful the organization is for girls; I have even had the pleasure of witnessing it myself during the past year I’ve spent volunteering with Girls Inc. of Metropolitan Dallas both on-site at their campuses and collaborating remotely with their social media team.

Overall, I had such an amazing time working with everyone: some for the first time, some for what seemed like the millionth time. You are all incredible and I can’t wait til we’re all together again at the premiere 🩷
