She got me through COVID in pure bliss and it's where I fell in love the one time. Every single time we were out at sea, Hector would be in a state of extasis and it was the best channel ever for me to share my passion with people I love. I'm closing this chapter to start writing a new one, a major one. Big thanks and lots of love to everyone that allowed me to share this corner of Baja [and of my heart] with them, and looking forward to the new adventures to come.
I've always wanted to fully focus on the breathtaking landscapes and magical light of the Norwegian Arctic, but the idea of not being in the water was terrifying. An issue with my housing was the perfect excuse to commit to topside photography on this trip. It is only day 2 of the expedition and Norway does not dissapoint.

15 years of Magbay. A magical corner in Baja that stole a big chunk of my heart. A place that went from being known only to locals and sailors to a social media phenomenon. The change has been bittersweet as the community thrives but at the same time "influencers" attract in the wrong crowds. Still its ocean, its people, the landscapes and wildlife bring the same sense of peace I felt in 2010 when I first came here. A place where I will always whisper the words: Baja delivers.

The Ocean has always been my element and happy place. Despite having owned 2 bigass exploration boats, my happiest moments at sea always happened on board Pulga, my little custom 23ft center console. Throwback to when the world stood still. It was a Wednesday and the day was May 13th, 2020. COVID lockdown at its peak. After a month of both the port and the marina being shut down I came to check on her. Couldn't resist, took Pulga for a spin, the sea was flat and clear, and a pod of bottlenose dolphins came to play. Rollin' in the middle of the open ocean doing 12kts with no one at the helm and me and Hector (seahound extraordinaire) at the bow as the dolphins constantly made eye contact with us. If that's not freedom, I don't know what is.

I first collaborated with @blancpain1735 in 2020 for the Final Edition of the 50 Fathoms book series. Then the 5th Ave boutique was dressed up with my photos for World Oceans Day in 2021. After a while, I was invited to become a brand ambassador just in time to wear my new piece underwater in my favorite place in the world: The Revillagigedo Archipelago.
When you are a watch person you know how much of a big deal this is. The oldest watch brand in the world and a reference in ocean commitment. Swiss pedigree at its finest.
