The idea is to build a family business and a legacy that can be passed from generation to generation. Creating a close-knit family environment is central to our ethos. The watchmaking workshop is housed in a traditional farmhouse in Givrins, Switzerland – and we believe that each watchmaker’s personal experience is an important chapter in the Biver story.

We met in 1980 during a conference in Dubai. You were the one who introduced me to the city and its remarkable dynamism — a place for which you were a true ambassador. You opened my eyes to the mindset, the colors, the scents, and the unique charm of the region and the Middle East.
Today, it feels as though it were only yesterday. Time passes so quickly, and in moments like these, we realize the essential role that memory and friendship play — memories that will remain beautiful, vivid, and untouched.
Thank you for your friendship and support throughout the years. Rest in peace, my friend.
