I am thrilled that my series, From Barragán to the Desert, has been selected as a Finalist in the 2025 AI Design Awards, which will take place in Barcelona this February. This body of work is a personal homage to a Mexico that exists for me between silence and excess. It is a world composed of walls of color, desert light, and surreal gestures—fragments that shouldn’t fit yet form their own internal logic. It is an exploration of the space halfway between Barragán and the Sonoran desert, suspended somewhere between memory and dream. Thank you @ai.designawards 🩶
