“32 years after the genocide, the UK remains the only country in the West where known genocide suspects continue to live untried, as their day in court recedes each painful day.” High Commissioner @jbusingye_ at #Kwibuka32 in London

Kwibuka32 in London 🕯️ Rwandans in the UK came together with members of the diplomatic community, partners, and friends of Rwanda to commemorate the victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. The gathering was a moment to remember the lives lost, stand with survivors, and reflect on our shared responsibility to preserve the truth of this history. Through moving remarks from speakers and the presence of the diplomatic community and Rwandans across the UK, the day was marked by reflection, solidarity, and a renewed commitment to remember, unite, and renew. #Kwibuka32 #RememberUniteRenew
