I’ve been holding off on sharing this wild creation until the right moment, and I think that moment is now. . Making guitars is always a blast, but creating something this special for someone so dear to me takes it to another level—it puts me over the moon. . This ultra-custom 37JG was made for one of my best friends, @jbtaylor . Not only is he an unbelievably talented musician and songwriter (playing in @stomacher and @thechaw ), but he’s also been instrumental in helping Lelah CG get off the ground. He was one of the main people who pushed me to get this dream started, built my website from the ground up, and offered invaluable advice. Honestly, without him, Lelah CG wouldn’t exist. . Jarrod has always been a Jaguar fan and already owns a few vintage-style models, so we decided to break from the norm and make something truly unique yet highly versatile. We incorporated a full Johnny Marr-style wiring harness from @wainwrightcustomguitars , with a slight twist: instead of the second bass-cut switch, there’s an in/out-of-phase switch for when both pickups are engaged. This creates ultra lo-fi tones when activated. . The Gemini Guyatone-spec Jag-sized gold foils are the perfect match for this wiring, delivering a sound that’s 100% usable and full of character. Add in the heavy-aged chrome hardware, Mastery bridge and vibrato, and a stunning SevenEight pickguard in black and amber—it’s just too good. . I might have to make one for myself… . 📷 @jwoconnor

All The World In Love! This tune was written around 2010/2011 for Stomacher. We demoed it a couple times but never quite got it right. So I’ve resurrected it here. I took bits and pieces from the work @jeffreychuck @gregjfrancis and @steverein81 did in the demos, so in a lot of ways it’s a solo tune run through the Stomacher meat grinder, and then back through me as a solo tune. I’m super proud of it. Thanks again to my favorite dude @jwoconnor for the photography and @gregjfrancis for the mastering.
