Shuli Taubes ( @sarhighschool ) offers a striking perspective on the story of the Tower of Babel — and what happens when unity becomes forced conformity. What happens when a society values the system more than the individual? Drawing on a powerful Midrash about the Tower of Babel, Taubes reflects on the dangers of cultures that prize productivity over people — and why Torah insists that every human being matters. A thought-provoking conversation about individuality and the risks of losing our humanity in service of a bigger machine. You asked. We delivered. 🫡 All three parts of the Mental Iron Dome monologue series — combined in one place. ✨ If you only watch one thing about Israel, Palestine, and the Jews — make it this.☝️ Part 1 — If the Arabs wanted a Palestinian state more than they wanted to destroy the Jewish one — there would be a Palestinian state. Part 2 — Antizionism is the othering of Jews from the Left. Part 3 — The Jeremiah Effect. To be right in this work is to stand against a tide of people convinced you are wrong. Truth doesn’t need a crowd. It needs people willing to stand still when the crowd moves. 🎙️ Being Jewish with Jonah Platt — YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify. Transcribed versions of all monologues are available on our website. Link in bio🔗

Growth begins with honesty. To change where you’re going, you first have to accept where you are. Rabba Yaffa Epstein ( @jewished @yaffaepstein ) explains why the Torah values our humanity over the perfection of angels. Don’t hide your flaws — use them as the starting point for your journey. Watch the full interview with Rabba Yaffa Epstein — renowned Jewish educator, writer, and scholar of Torah — on Jewish Insights with Justin Pines. 🎙️ OUT NOW — Rabbi Shmuel Lynn on Being Jewish with Jonah Platt. He grew up in Palm Beach, experienced antisemitism firsthand, made his way to Duke, NYU Film School, and a career as a Hollywood screenwriter.🤯 Then he became one of the most impactful Jewish educators in America. And 20 years ago — he’s the rabbi who started MY Jewish journey at Penn.✨ We talked about what it actually takes to spark a Jewish identity in a generation that’s drifting. About immersive theater, screenplays, trips to Poland, and why college kids are his people. Oh — and how he somehow does all of it at once. Same vibe, same tribe, shorter episode. 30 Minute Mensches is back, babe. 😏 🎙️ Stream NOW on Being Jewish with Jonah Platt — YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify.

Ancient wisdom for a very modern problem. The Tower of Babel isn’t just a Bible story — it’s a warning about unchecked ambition that hits different in 2026. Right or left — which side’s antisemitism is worse? Wrong question. We’re over the edge on both. And debating it is a waste of the time we need to be using to actually fight. Soldiers don’t show up to battle untrained. Neither should we. Read. Learn. Prepare. Push back. It’s gotta be taught. And it’s gotta be fought. 🎙️ Being Jewish with Jonah Platt — YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify.

In memory of Abe Foxman z”l. Born in Poland in 1940, Abe Foxman survived the Holocaust as a hidden child. His Catholic nanny helped save his life by raising him under a false identity while his parents endured the horrors of the camps and eventually reunited with him after the war. Those early experiences shaped a lifetime of moral conviction and Jewish leadership. In this moving conversation with Mark S. Golub z”l, on L’Chayim, Foxman reflects on one of the most personal questions imaginable: how his father, after surviving the Holocaust, still held onto faith. Abe Foxman is a Holocaust survivor, longtime national director of the Anti-Defamation League ( @adl_national ), JBS Board Member, and one of the most influential Jewish voices of the last half-century, Abe Foxman dedicated his life to fighting antisemitism and defending the Jewish people. May his memory be a blessing. 🕯️ #abefoxman #markgolub #holocaust #inmemory

It’s not the same. The hatred isn’t coming from governments this time. But here’s what is the same — Jews are living in fear. We now know that the unthinkable is possible. Because it’s already happened once. It’s not a normal way to live. And it shouldn’t be. 🎙️ Being Jewish with Jonah Platt — YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify. 🎙️ OUT NOW — Deborah Lipstadt on Being Jewish with Jonah Platt. She wrote a book about Holocaust denial. A Holocaust denier sued her. She beat him in court. They made it into a movie. Rachel Weisz played her. ✨ Then President Biden appointed her America’s Special Envoy to Combat Antisemitism — the first to hold the position at the level of Ambassador. And she came on this show and said what most politicians won’t: The extreme right and the extreme left agree on nothing. Except Jew hatred. This is the conversation Being Jewish with Jonah Platt exists to have. 🎙️ Stream now on all platforms — YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify.

In memory of Abe Foxman z”l. Holocaust survivor, longtime national director of the Anti-Defamation League ( @adl_national ), JBS Board Member, and one of the most influential Jewish voices of the last half-century, Abe Foxman dedicated his life to fighting antisemitism, defending the Jewish people, and reminding the world where hatred can lead. Foxman passed away yesterday at the age of 86. In this powerful moment from L’Chayim with Mark S. Golub z”l on JBS ( @jbstvorg ), Foxman reflects on one of the enduring lessons of the Holocaust: that atrocities do not begin with violence — they begin with words. JBS is honored to preserve more than a decade of conversations and appearances featuring Abe Foxman in our archive, available anytime on the JBS YouTube channel. Full L’Chayim conversations with Abe Foxman will also re-air on JBS television tomorrow and Wednesday. May his memory be a blessing. 🕯️

In 2017 — 90 to 95% of Congress would vote to stand up to antisemitism. Today — only 17% of Democrats are more sympathetic to Israel than to the Palestinians. Congressman Josh Gottheimer has been inside Congress watching this shift happen in real time. And he’s not sugarcoating what it means. This is one of the most important conversations we’ve had on the show. 🎙️ Being Jewish with Jonah Platt — YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify.
