The USO has opened a brand-new 6,600 sq. ft. center offering plenty of amenities for free to active duty, Reserve, National Guard, retirees, and their families.
Patrons can also enjoy visits by therapy dog Ranger 🐶
But that’s not all! The USO is taking its support on the road with a mobile canteen that brings coffee and treats directly to training ranges.
Whether at the new center or on the go, the USO is your home away from home ❤️

Join #TeamJBMDL this Wednesday, 6 May, for an afternoon of friendly international competition and family entertainment 👏 Come out to Doughboy Field to support our JB MDL Flag Football team as they take on the visiting UK Army team.
This event is family-friendly and open to the entire base community. While the teams face off on the field, we will have food vendors on-site, bounce houses set up for the kids and exclusive giveaways throughout the afternoon! 👀
Whether you go for the football, the food or just to enjoy the afternoon with your family, we look forward to seeing you there to help us kick off our Freedom 250 celebrations🎊

Facing the fallout ☢️
87th OMRS Bioenvironmental Engineering participated in Radiant Falcon training, where they learned to execute missions on radiologically contaminated aircraft ✈️ They built the skills needed for real-world response and gained the knowledge to train others how to operate safely in these environments. Teaming up with 605th AMXS Airmen, 87th OMRS BEE was able to realistically practice management of radiation exposure. This training is a testament to our commitment to enhancing operational readiness and ensuring the safety of personnel, keeping Airmen ready for any situation. 🛡💪

The ground gave way, but our readiness didn’t!
When a sinkhole appeared in front of The Exchange and Commissary today, rapid response teams were already on the move 🚧🌧️
Despite pouring rain, the 87th Civil Engineer Squadron Dirt Boys jumped into action 🏃 They cleared water, stabilized the area, and began repairs to fortify the roadway. Members from Safety and Security Forces were also on scene ensuring traffic control and safety for workers and drivers 🚓⚠️
This is what readiness looks like: skilled professionals, swift action and teamwork in any weather.
