Now up at @hyperallergic , a new comic about gay cinema. Thank you to everyone who helped me with this comic especially @schlockvalue and @keeganofcourse for talking to me and @c_as_s for answering my out of nowhere texts. It’s got a different title on Hyperallergic (“Falling in Love with Vintage Gay Films”) but in my heart it’s still called “Prurient Interest,” and I needed someone to see my Heated Rivalry joke, so that’s how it’s posted here, okay. I have ten million more things to say about this topic and never want to stop drawing Richard Locke, so as per usual, scratching the surface with this one.

From 2012-2022 I put out 5 issues of Doykeit, a zine that asked contributors to think about what a queer, anti-Z*onist Jewish identity and politic would entail. Over those years I think the answer changed, cohered, broke apart, shifted, different people had different answers but the answer is not and has never been an apartheid state. I finally scanned these zines as printable files, in case they are useful for folks in some small way. If you want the link, DM me.
