While driving home yesterday I heard a “scraping or dragging” noise coming from the rear. I got home and inspected the vehicle and then saw that my drivers side rear shock lower hardware was missing causing the shock to fall out of itself and then pried itself into the backside of my wheel. Luckily all is good now and replaced with new hardware.

After work trail walk at the Fullerton Loop. Nice lil 3 mile go around to clear the mind, but not a great hike at all. Pretty disappointed tbh, but there will be others.

Better late than never. Forgot to post this before/after photos of the end tables I refinished. Sand, sand, sand, stain, stain, stain, sand, polyurethane X 3 and then wax and polish. Not gonna lie, it was actually kind of fun. Who knew 🤷🏻♂️? Now it’s time to clean, clean, clean….shop is pretty damn dusty.

Little side work I’ve been doing. Found these old end tables and decided to refinish them. I sanded, sanded again and then sanded two more times. Once I got the stains out and it felt smooth enough I stained them with a red oak wood finish. For right now I’m letting them dry and then I’ll hopefully finish off the job next week.
I swear, this car spends more time on lifts and Jack stands than anything else. Almost ready to move onto the next stage of the build. Always upgrade, never degrade. Now it’s time to enjoy the build and take her out for a drive. Latest upgrade is installing an adjustable proportioning valve. Let’s see what happens! Stay tuned…
