i lowk have a bachelor’s degree
its been a long (and also short?) 3 years at GSU but its finally time for wraps. when i first enrolled, i thought i was so behind because i started 4 years later than my high school peers, but eventually i learned that im not behind — im just doing things at my pace. im on me time.
i believe everything happens as its supposed to so i know i went to university at the exact right time. i got to meet the most amazing people during my time here and they helped to shape me into the person i am today.
i’ve been through a lot the past 3 years, but i wouldnt change a thing because every experience — ups, downs, even heartbreaks — made me the Kendra i am today, and i think she’s pretty cool. she’s more loving and kind and patient and optimistic and outgoing and anD AND —
anyway, i dunno what im going to do next. life is so full of possibilities and i’ve never been great at making decisions. BUT! if i’ve learned anything these past few years, its that im way more capable than i give myself credit for. i mean, i moved to a city 4hrs away from my support system, flew 14hrs across the atlantic (scared af cuz it was my FIRST TIME on a plane), and stayed in Greece for a month while pushing my body and creativity to its limits. All things i never saw myself doing in a million years and yet! i did it.
thank you thank you thank you to the people who have supported me and kept me going!! and pushing me to do the things i want to do!!! so many late nights and ugly crying...
anyway! be on the lookout for me! who knows what im gonna get into!!!
what would kendra be if she had quit? GUESS WE’LL NEVER KNOW!!!

Bachelors in Film and Media with a minor in Theatre.
4 years ago, I made the decision to pursue my degree at Georgia State University. The path to get here was not easy, but doable with God, my loving family, and wonderful friends by my side.
As I cross the threshold from college into adulthood, I will carry this truth with me: to be anxious for nothing, but in all things, through prayer and petition, and thanksgiving in my heart, to lay my request before God.
