A beautiful day for a floatplane ride around Vancouver. My first time visiting the city and I’m definitely coming back. After my Mt. St. Helens flight got washed out yesterday, this was a welcome relief. On to Alaska! Ended the excursion with a couple glasses of wine, a pizza (which I confirmed is not on my Mediterranean diet…), watching a couple cruise ships heading out and Live Lightning Crashes on the speakers at Mahoney’s Tavern.

Excited to work with this team (and others who could not be here) on the 40th Annual AFP PBC Luncheon. Nominations will open on August 3 and on November 12th at Kravis, we’ll honor some of those who truly make a difference in our community.

Such a beautiful Pearls & Petals Luncheon for Hearts for Moms and raising so much money! Angela Ball and her team have built such a great platform to help single moms and families and give them hope. The day was filled with so many beautiful ladies (and 2 men including me!šŸ˜€) enjoying a Perfume Bar, champagne, a great meal and view and a message of hope for single moms. With a Hat Competition included, the ladies came out dressed to the nines and looking smashing! Shannon Cake, always a pleasure to work with you and great job as MC! Co-Chairs Melissa Kino and Dee Cushing congrats on leading a beautiful event! Thank you to all the ladies who supported this great mission! I did enjoy a small piece of cake at the end and then promptly got in my treadmill…

5 days, 8 flights, 3 cities and 3 charity auctions raising thousands and thousands of dollars, countless snacky-snacks, one kid raising and lowering his window shade no less than 25 times on a flight and one long drive to and from Orlando. This is what I love! Now time to get a Celsius and settle in for a long drive home… Thank you Delta for getting me to (almost) all of my destinations!

An incredible night raising money at the Wine & Roses Gala for American Cancer Society New Jersey. As a former staff member, I know how important the funds raised for not only research but the Hope Lodge. The 40th Anniversary Gala did not disappoint! Kimberly Bukoweic, great job as Emcee and happy to share the stage with you! Now, off to Orlando!

Sharing the stage with ā€œThe Great Oneā€ Wayne Gretzky auctioning off 2 signed jerseys was just one highlight of a fantastic night at the Jupiter Police Foundation 5th Annual Police Officer’s Ball. A ton of money was raised with all the Live Auction items and a beautiful Paddle Raise to help buy a new police boat. Along with Wayne being honored and turning around and honoring our law enforcement, Chief of Police Don Hennessy spoke about our community. President Jay Alpert, Jerry Somma and VIA Productions, Amanda Campbell, Sherry Shattie, Laura Zele and the rest of the JPF team, Jennifer Sardone-Shiner of JSS Marketing & PR, Emcee Felicia Rodriguez (thank you for the photos!) and everyone who attended, thank you for a great night and congrats! Rob Thompson, thank you for your generosity! James Valenti you delivered a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem! Thank you Tyler Benson and TB Creative Group for the video and Coastal Click Photography for the photos! As for the dessert, I decided it looked like it was sugar-free so I ate it…

Just a night in New Jersey raising money with Eli Manning. A great day of clay shooting followed by a night of bid cards going up and raising over $200,000!

WOW! about sums up the amazing Walk-A-Mile LGA experience yesterday. We had a rare opportunity to go behind the scenes at LaGuardia Airport and tour the baggage area (incredible system how your bag makes it from check in the final carousel), the Gate Agent with boarding, the pilots and flight attendants lounge areas, down on the tarmac and up close with planes moving in and out (and a thumbs up from a pilot) and finishing up the day in the Terminal Operations Control Center which monitors every Delta flight in and out of LGA. I love flying Delta, love flying in and out of LGA and this just made it even more special. We ended the day with a great swag bag and a load of snacky-snacks for the flight home. #deltaproud #LGA #skymileslife

Whenever I go on the road, I try to do adventurous things and today was one of the very cool ones with The Squadron NY. This is an awesome F-35 Simulator that teaches you some of the training the pilots go through and some cool simulation flying around Vegas, NYC and combat over the Grand Canyon. My flying skills got better after each mission but I’m not sure I can pull off Maverick ā€œcoolnessā€ in my flight suit… @thesquadronnyc

The last three days were filled with running through airports (although I love being in an airport and on a plane), hanging out in a hotel, a bunch of ride shares, and then doing what I love and raising money for organizations. Thursday and Friday night in New Jersey were great nights of fundraising and fun audiences (and a couple hiccups along the way). John Elliot from CBS, great job as MC and thank you for the nice introduction. Giselle Bellas, excellent performance! Amy Berenbek, @mysoulfreedom so good to meet you! The trip was finished off with a flight home, a Snicki snack and a great sunrise flying out of Newark. Saturday night in Delray we had a beautiful gathering raising money for a number of organizations in our community. Now it’s time to prep for another week on the road, and getting those paddles raised!

To hear about a child who has been dealing with arthritis from a very young age is heartbreaking. Saturday night, the Tampa Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation stepped up and raised the paddles for all of those Arthritis Warriors. Arthritis is more than just hands or knees aching. It can affect the whole body and restrict growth but nights like this can give hope to those who are affected.
