A couple of years ago @sutherlandjm spoke at the shelter where my family and I resided, a few days later she agreed to become my mentor and promised me that she would do everything she can to ensure I goto college. We had no clue where that path would lead us. Our story has helped bring attention to homelessness in higher education to the world stage. This feat was achieved with the help of thousands of people across globe who decided to take a stand and believe in the power of education. I’m proud to be a part of the bison family, without my bison family Homeless 2 Howard wouldn’t have happen to begin with. I’ve went from Homeless to Howard to finding a home at Howard.
