If you’ve opened a utility bill lately, you know costs are out of control. I helped deliver the biggest clean-energy investment in history – and now I’m running for Congress in NJ-12 to lower your bills and bring new energy to Washington. Let’s do this.

Our first ad is live! Funded by everyday people, not a bunch of super PACs. Help me make sure every voter sees this the next 19 days by donating at the link in bio. On June 2, let’s show the special interests that New Jersey is Not For Sale.

The era of reliance on fossil fuels must come to an end. Our future lies in fully transitioning to clean energy and harnessing the latest battery storage technology. It’s time to reject Big Oil and build the infrastructure that will power the 21st century and bring jobs to our communities.

Remembering my late Nani on this Mother’s Day. I think a lot about what dreams, hopes, and fears she and my mom may have had in this photo 28 years ago. The worries I’ll never know, the grit I can never measure. Every joy, every comfort, every success I’ve ever had is because of them. Happy Mother’s Day to the powerful women in our lives. 💛

So wonderful to be back at the Bayard Rustin Center! It’s been an honor to serve on the Board of this organization, and to stand with my middle school teacher and Chief Activist Robt Martin Seda Schreiber. Posting some highlights from last week and from the last several years I’ve spent here with my brothers, sisters, and nonbinary siblings. Bayard Rustin was a civil rights leader who helped organize the 1963 March on Washington. As a gay man, he was often shunned out of fear that his sexuality would turn others against the movement. Today, the Bayard Rustin Center stands as a place for Angelic Troublemakers to gather and stand up for an intersectional movement that protects everyone, no matter where you’re from, how you worship, how you identify, or who you love. As your Member of Congress, I’ll never be afraid to stand up for this community, especially when Republicans (and even Democrats) try to throw queer folks under the bus to win elections.

This kind of nonsense is why Democrats lose elections. Half measures aren't working, we must abolish ICE.

We should hold ourselves and ALL of our allies to the same human rights standards. When any leader takes action that violates international law, the US should directly sanction that leader and hold them accountable. If you want to know why some of our politicians won't vote for equal accountability, just follow the money.

I’m running against a bunch of millionaires, who have access to wealthy networks of donors, multi-million dollar super PACs they never mention, and even folks who have written themselves six figure checks in self funding. Jersey is done with the era of rich people trying to buy seats in Congress. Congressional seats belong to everyday people, not the highest bidder. I’m funded by an average online contribution of $33. No corporate PACs, no super PACs, no personal wealth. I’m the youngest candidate in this race and I’m running because I can’t afford to live in the community where I grew up. Visit the link in my bio to donate.

Data centers are popping up all over NJ-12 without our permission. The newest one going up on Route 1 could consume as much electricity as every home in Princeton, South Brunswick, and Trenton combined. That’s going to make your electricity bills skyrocket. If big tech wants to build on our land, they have to do it on our terms. That means new clean energy generation, sustainable water practices, and real noise prevention. We set the terms, they meet them. Or they can't build here.

Is NJ ready for the World Cup? MetLife stadium will ban parking and tailgating on game days, pushing hundreds of thousands onto NJ Transit. New Jersey shouldn't be footing the bill while so many billionaires line their pockets. And with Penn Station closed to regular commuters on game days, many New Jerseyans may have no way home. We need a plan for commuters and fans, not just the fat cats at FIFA.

Thanks to Trump and Netanyahu’s reckless war with Iran, gas is going for over $4 a gallon in New Jersey right now. And costs are only expected to go up from here. This is fixable. We have to elect a Congress that says NO to Trump’s forever wars.
