When we started @thehookng , it was born out of a deep passion to create impact and tell meaningful brand stories. Six years in, after creating impact for brands and organizations, we came to a powerful realization. There was a deeper need. A need to expand the reach of storytelling, not just for brands tied to a region or specific consumer group, but to create stories that travel further. Stories that resonate with anyone, anywhere.
That realization birthed our first independent production, our boldest move yet.
The questions have come: “Why now?” “Why take this on?” Why are you dabbling so much into an industry filled with uncertainty? Why now? Sam aren’t you doing too much? The doubts too. But maybe, at our core, we’re just passionate storytellers, excited to give back to an industry and creative economy that’s shaped us for over a decade.
So, we did it. Even with the fears. Even with the uncertainty.
I remember getting the message that the trailer was ready. And just like that, the panic returned. It’s been like that for weeks.
But here we are. Here’s to courage. Here’s to following instinct. Here’s to telling stories without borders. Here’s to UNCLAIMED.
@thehookent 🔥
Entrepreneurship is tough, no one really prepares you for it. Some days you’re fully energised, and other days you find yourself wondering, “What’s all this stress for?” But growth on this journey demands discipline, consistency, and showing up even when it’s not convenient.
Thank you, @globalentrepreneurshipfestival , for reaching out and recognising the grind. And thank you to the entire @thehookng team, @thehookent

RAK was a key stakeholder in our first ever political stint @thehookng , the revolutionary #Otoge campaign, it’s good to see how he is now shaping policies that impact young people, and inspiring to see how far he has come.
Last slide shows how impactful The Otoge Campaign was
