DEAR STRANGER, ORIGINS is available WORLDWIDE 🌎🔥 If you type ‘Dear Stranger, Origins’ into Amazon, you should be able to find it. ‘Dear Stranger, Origins is the story about how Jay became the wanderer who runs through cities like a shadow in the night, leaving hopeful letters in his wake. This book is for anybody who feels too strange to fit into a world that likes to beat its young. A raw and real tale of somebody who fought back at life when it tried to beat the light out of his eyes.’ I want to thank all of you who bought a copy from my website, your purchases helped fund some of my European tour. And I am very pleased all of you who I spoke to enjoyed the journey. I’m very grateful since this book took two years to write and because it is an extremely vulnerable and raw book it was sometimes hellfire in the brain to pour onto paper. But all that fire ended up to be worth it 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 Now I start working in a few days to earn some cash to fund my next dear stranger tour and living costs in general, I don’t have time to pack and sign any more books. So Amazon is the next step in the books journey 😊 I hope you enjoy the wild ride and I hope it sets fire to your heart. All the funds earned from this book will be pumped back into my Dear Stranger Project, so your purchase is directly supporting the project. Keep rocking. Keep rolling. I’m excited to see how the journey through the darkness into the burning light makes you feel 👽🤘❤️‍🔥 Fire speed towards all your dreams fellow rock and roll stranger! Love from Jay xx

Have you found a letter while out wandering the streets of your city? Maybe you found a letter taped to a trash can, or a bus stop window, or a traffic pole? If you have, hello fellow rock and roll wild child. Recently, I’ve been posting letters across Brussels and Amsterdam, so maybe you found one there. This winter, I will be drifting across Europe, posting more letters. Since I rarely show any of my letters on social media because I prefer to keep them secret until a stranger finds one on the street, I decided to showcase a few of my letters via Instagram. If you found a letter, feel free to share the location of where you found it and how it made you feel. And if you sent me a message, thank you kind soul. I’ve been doing my best to respond to as many of you as possible, unfortunately my message requests got wiped out because it reached the limit, so if I didn’t respond to you, it’s because it got wiped. But I just want to let you know I’m extremely grateful for each and everyone of you who message me. Your messages keep this project going, it gives me motivation to continue posting through rain and frost. Rock and roll wild child Much love - Jay I hope a letter finds you on this mad adventure called life ❤️‍🔥 #streetart #dearstranger #streetarteverywhere #streetartist #streetartlondon #streetartparis #streetartbrussels

🇧🇪 Some of you might have found a letter titled ‘Dear Stranger’ taped to a street corner, on a lamp post, or on an electrical box somewhere in Brussels. If this is how you found me, hello fellow stranger! Here’s how this project began :) PS. I made a grammar error, Slide 4. 'To tell me I'm not the only one.' sometimes it be like that 🤣

This winter I headed into the Deep North to post my Dear Stranger letters. I posted my letters across Stockholm, Uppsala, Gothenburg, Oslo, and random towns and villages in the Norwegian mountains. This trip was mind expanding and taught me how to see mental health from a new perspective. Also the social distance was an ice cold splash of water on the face. There is so much to learn from Scandinavia and I barely touched the surface. I hope to return again, but for those of you who found a letter, I hope the words found you at the right time. And those of you who helped donate to the costs of the trip, via my Buy me a coffee link in my bio, thank you!!!! You helped me cross the finish line! Thanks to you, more strangers found a letter they might need to see. Much love. Onto the next place, wherever that may be. Let the wind decide. #dearstranger #poetry #streetart

There’s a Tale to This City is a love letter to Melbourne, a manifesto for finding stories in the everyday, and a coming-of-age tale with mateship at its heart. Three young men cross paths and agree to wander the city together. They uncover pieces of hidden wisdom tucked in the cracks of the pavement. Invisible threads between passing strangers. The gutters flood with tales. The trio must abandon their assumptions—everything they think they know about the world, about people, about themselves—to learn how to notice, observe, and listen. Each narrative peels back another layer of the metropolis: humanity, compassion, accidental philosophy. To us, this book is a time-capsule of our friendship, which began on the streets of Melbourne in 2021. We would wander the urban wild hunting for stories in seemingly ordinary moments. It was a surreal rush of adrenaline, and our bonds tightened through every strange encounter. Now Jay is in Europe … or possibly the UK, it’s hard to keep track with him, while Jaidyn is still in Melbourne. Even oceans couldn’t stop us from turning our stories into a novel, turning ourselves into characters. 10/10 recommend writing a novel with your best friend. This book is for wanderers and homebodies, dreamers and artists, booklovers and curious minds. New edition 2026—expanded and revised! Available at Booktopia, Amazon, or order from your local bookstore. Get signed copies from the Back Shed Press online store 📖 #melbournebooks #citystories #australianliterature #bookstagram #books

Ireland. I got invited to go on the Ireland AM breakfast show while out posting my letters in Cork. My friends and I drove up to Dublin the next day, clothes badly needing a wash from days on the road. I still have mud all over my boots from hiking the night before. The trip across Ireland has been so fun and intense and all gas no breaks, and it was so much fun getting free sausage rolls and a box of berries from Virgin studios. The entire team was so lovely and it was so funny because my mates were eating sausage rolls behind the camera while I was trying my best to be as coherent as possible, which was fun because I was running off no sleep. Great times. I love Ireland so much. Go raibh maith agat. If you want watch me ramble for a full seven minutes you can find the full interview on YouTube in my link. Much love and fire speed fellow wild child. Blessed to have you here for the ride.

A while ago I was invited to a collaboration with @stanley_europe about @jaytheauthor Jay was working on his “Dear Stranger” project in Amsterdam, writing letters to strangers and posting them in public spaces. These are some of the images that shot that day. Thanks @maxkoetzier for inviting me to the team 💛 I often find it cool and energising to work with brands due to the production, fee and project sizes. But by no means do I want to blindly promote their products as an result of my enthusiasm about the work. But I think that people will see what it is about and what it is not.

Dear Strangers in LONDON 🇬🇧 I will be joining forces with @whatdoesnot to showcase an exhibition for my Dear Stranger letters on December 19th in a super fancy private members club in Central London. What’s cool about this space is that anyone is welcome to come along to the event that night. I will be there, participating in a storytelling event, selling signed copies of my book, and around to chat to anyone that comes along. At the storytelling event, I will share some stories that altered the tint of my eyes. There will be other storytellers there and also amazing musicians performing. If you want to see something different and meet new interesting strangers, come along and join for the wild ride 🤘❤️‍🔥 See you there wild child 😉 To get your ticket visit @whatdoesnot page.
