Felt great being back on stage after a while.
Something about the Theater energy that just makes you feel so human. Especially in today’s AI age where effort is the rarest resource. At first the task seemed super daunting.
We had to procure really lengthy cloths to cover the whole stage, we needed to figure out how to make rocks and a hammer, how are we gonna suspend the diamond? Where are we gonna find a cast, who’s gonna help us with sound and everything???
Then I simply practiced what I’d been telling myself for a while. Just take a deep breath, have faith and do JUST what needs to be done in THAT moment.
And just like that, in ways my limited intelligence simply could not have perceived the solutions just kept materialising one by one.

@raghav_siva graciously lent me there long thirai,
@aadithiya_raajan helped us out with the sound cues,
@craig_lobo_ went the extra mile to ensure we got what was required, my amazing cast and an
@_apoocalyps_ helped out in making all the props.
@poochus_productions took care of helping us like crazy backstage and in partaking in our idea of giving the audience a souvenir from the day (a card signed by the cast),
@abhishek_karthik_ for being there during the story formation stage,
@ambarishraghavendar for bringing all his Theater experience to the fore and helped out in every way he could,
@nsanyty doing a role way outside her comfort zone and nailing it to the point of receiving praise all round with a mix of surprise 😂 and of course, S! For everything! Seeing all our loved ones show up and witness us have fun on stage and offer genuine compliments and feedback…. Everything!
And then to see it all come together and hear that thunderous applause when your play is done from the audience? Ah ☺️☺️ Indescribable feeling
Topping it all off have to thank the jury for nominating me and
@sivapuranam for the categories of best director and writer respectively was the icing on the cake.
Life has been extremely chaotic and it’s the little wins that pay off. Gues it’s not even the wins, it’s the process…
