Been meaning to make an edit of this for some time now. This happened 2 years ago on my bday trip to Stowe. First want to say thank you to Stowe mtn ski patrol for giving my bf the best and quickest care possible. Also want to give a shoutout to the 2 skiers who pulled him back onto trail. He ended up fracturing his C7 in his neck. Our journey started at a small Vermont hospital where he was quickly transported to Dartmouth NH upon discovering the C7 fracture. At the NH hospital doctors were discussing the potential for paralysis and future risks. Luckily he’s young and heals well, by the end of our hospital visit they told us he got really lucky that it was a small fracture and not bigger. Spent 3 weeks at home barely wearing his neck brace, then back on his board 3 weeks later!! 🤙🏼😭 Instagram BLOW THIS UP, hes crazy 😆

Backstory: 2 years ago at Mt southington boyfriend fell off the chairlift right before getting off about 15/20ft, concussion 6 broken ribs. No helmet no steeze!! Got back on his board 2 weeks later. This was also only my 3rd time snowboarding, watching him fall out of the lift and not being able to stop it was so scary!!! Stay safe out there and have fun!!! 🫶🏼

When the trip should’ve just stayed in the gc ☠️😅
Context: when we were 2 hrs from the hotel we had our car fully loaded with gear and ppl towed back to ct. we still made it tho, we rented a U-Haul truck in the middle of the night and freezing cold. Ended the trip with a parking ticket in the Stowe lot. Spent way more money than we were supposed to, but made some of the best memories ever. 💥😭😂
