Every sodding caption or carousel I see is written by ChatGPT and it’s grinding my gears. Suddenly the whole world has the same cadence, the same tone of voice and it’s really boring.

16 from 16. Travel was cheap and easy. iPhone cameras were pretty crap. Everything we saw was real. Caps were mainly worn backwards. A good coffee was still a valid post.
We did this new thing where you get some skilled people and some real product and try and create AI using only a camera & human connection. Hoping it’ll catch on 🤞🏻
Just some of the people and places that made my 2025 pretty awesome. Professionally, it was a fantastic year. But there’s a question hanging over the whole industry heading into 2026 - will brands continue to choose human connections over novelty slop? Humans are what kept me in photography. I’m not sure that spending my days collaborating with an AI has the same appeal. 🤞🏻
First F1 race I went to was won by Senna in a McLaren. At the next one I saw, Prost’s McLaren led Mansell’s Ferrari over the line. I still have a photo I took of his Ferrari.
31 years later I’m commissioned by @neweraeurope to shoot McLaren’s young British rookie @Lando ahead of his first race in F1. We took some shots with the Union Jack to run when he won his first race. Yesterday he became F1 World Champion.
He looked deservedly happy celebrating with his team and his family, but to be fair I’ve been watching F1 for twice as long as he’s been on the planet so now I’ve met and shot a World Champion I’m fucking ecstatic. Photography completed.
