This was moments before I went to Alabama State University as an undecided major and end being one of the first students of @alasudance .
I had recently finished my first Horton workshop, danced with @iamjackie.lockhart for a little over a year, of course had been in @madskillzent1 since the age of 13, had learned the basics of ballet with the great Annie B. Lindsay, and had even done the The Chocolate Nutcrackerâbut I had NEVER taken a full-blown ballet class from start to finish: barre, center, across the floor, variations, etc.
And there I was⌠creating magicâmoments before I walked into the depth of my destiny.
You see, when God gives you a gift and you allow that gift to make you FEELâand you chase that feelingâyou unlock your destiny effortlessly.
Now that Iâm really reflecting on every single detail of my dance journeyânot just the big moments, but the small puzzle piecesâIâm honestly flabbergasted. And in that reflection, Iâm unlocking a new inner confidence that reflects the Glory of God like never before.
Itâs really up and stuck.
The FUTURE is BRIGHT⌠and so is the NOW. â¨

Alexis combines the information he has learned from Afro-Cuban, neoclassical, classical ballet, and Caribbean rhythms, that lead to creating his own technique called Dibujo Circular de Movimento (Circular Drawing Movement).
Jaylon was selected by Alexis and @raulorlandoedwards to be a demo dancer for Alexisâs online training platform. Jaylon spent several weeks training. â¤ď¸âđĽ
