I'm grateful to have had an in-person ceremony and am thankful for all the efforts @douglascollege made to make it happen. I made the right choice by studying here.
To my parents, your love and support means the world to me. Thank you for allowing me to sleep in, putting food on the table, and celebrating my accomplishments. I know you want the best for me and Ate; we will always remember your advices.
To my sister @karenmabalos_ the one who inspired me to do well in school, helped me proofread essays, creator and editor of the videos I had to submit for skills testing, thank you for everything. I don't know where I would be without you, and though I may not say it much, I love you more than you know. Thank you for all your help and keeping me in line. For reminding me to surround myself with people who will help me grow in life.
To my Life Skills family, I am so thankful to have completed my practicum and be given the opportunity to now work here. I have learned and will continue to learn from my coworkers. Thank you for your patience with me as I continue to learn about inclusive practices and the Special Education field. Work doesn't feel like work, when I am enjoying my time.
Lastly, to the angels in heaven who have protected and guided me through out my journey (and the next), this one is for you.
