Hello hello! My name is Jayla and I am a keys player & music director hailing from Melbourne, AustraliaĀ š¦šŗ
I first started playing piano when I was 5 years old, and made my first foray into music directing at 16, with my local theatre.Ā
I came to the US in 2021 to study at Berklee College of Music, where I got my degree in Contemporary Writing and Production and minored in Theatre Music Direction - and I officially graduated inĀ May 2025! This is my first time touring, and I am loving gettingĀ to see so many different parts of this country.Ā
Outside of music, I love reading, arts and crafts, and trying to find the best coffee in the US (even though nothing can beat Melbourne coffee). IĀ also love travelling the world, and you can always find me planning my next adventure.Ā
Fun facts about me:āØ-I was a spelling bee champion as a child
-I have been to nearly every Disney park in the world (Shanghai, Iām coming for you)
-I originally wanted to work in film, and did one semester of film school!
