It's been a little over a year since I brought Applesauce home. Since then, he has brought me more love and joy and laughter than I could've possibly imagined. When Meg or I come home, he greets us at the door with his silly whisper squeaks. He has a pathological need to participate in everything we do and an insatiable appetite for play. He is constantly by our sides or in our laps. I was sick last night and slept 13 hours - he slept on my bed with me the whole time.
When I was growing up, I always considered myself a "dog person" and never understood the appeal of cats. Well, now I'm a fully converted cat person.
I love you so much Applesauce. I can't believe it's been a whole year with you already. Here's to many more!

This class will introduce the fundamental skill and strength progressions that lay the foundation for straps' thrilling and iconic dynamic skills. Int/Adv students will also work on combining basic skills into transitions and sequences.

Jay began his aerial journey at Frequent Flyers in his late 20s and has since expanded to teaching and performing aerial straps in Colorado and beyond. Coming from a background of calisthenics, gymnastics, and rock climbing, Jay is inspired by the power and dynamicism of straps and other aerial apparatuses. Straps is his vehicle of choice for staying fit, happy, and inspired, and he loves sharing this passion with his students and audiences.
