Pros and cons of being a dj booth: pros: you get to hear all my unreleased IDs. Cons: you’re a dj booth 🤷‍♂️

This is the reality of being a producer: sometimes you do everything right… and nothing happens. Even tracks that perform well (like getting over a million streams) might get zero support from editorial playlists on Spotify. And there’s often no clear reason why. That’s frustrating, but it’s part of the game. You won't figure out the algorithm. And you can’t rely on platforms to push your music. You have to keep releasing, keep sharing, and build your own momentum. Because the truth is: Some tracks won’t get support Some will grow later Some will open doors you didn’t expect Every release is a new opportunity. Even if it feels like nothing is happening, you never know. It might be building something in the background. 💬 Comment 'Podcast' for the full episode! #musicproducer #artist #spotify #musicindustry #artistcoaching

Seeing all the separate elements that go into a track always sparked my creativity when I started producing so I love showing you how I make my tracks 🙌 Into Orbit is out now 🚀

@jayhardway shared what makes Martin Garrix stand out in the studio 👀 It isn’t just his skill, but his energy and creativity. He’s especially strong with melodies, something that’s been part of his sound from the very beginning. But what really sets him apart in collaborations is how he brings ideas to life. He hears something and quickly thinks of new ways to use it, improve it, or turn it into something bigger. That energy lifts the whole session. It pushes everyone to do better. 🤝 This was a question from the Discord community, and if you have a question you'd like to ask us, you can join by clicking the link in our bio! 💬 Comment 'Podcast' for the full episode! #dj #musicproducer #artist #martingarrix #artistcoaching
