These guys were so entertaining to listen to and watch work - intense and focused, and laid-back, goofy and disarming all at once. In three hours, I learned solutions to lighting issues I‘ve struggled with for a decade. It lit my fire. I could have stayed there all day. Here, @rolldicefindout pulls up an image @jayfram just shot of him, in an off-the-cuff, impromptu session yielding photographs that looked anything but. 📸 @fujifilmx_us #xt50 #Fujinon1650mm

@asmporegon workshop, featuring @jayfram & @rolldicefindout was an experience not many knew about. Its hosts were well experienced and broke down everything to the most basic levels allowing for the diversely skilled class to follow around. Through the many questions and quick time crunch, both Jay & Christopher delivered a resourceful, information packed class, leaving attendees with more than they came with. And a shout out to ASMP for making this possible, also a hidden gem. Look more into how you can become apart of ASMP and have direct access to a variety of classes like this and a tight knit creative community.

After 👉🏻Before It’s amazing what a thoughtful layout shift can do for a home. This dining room already had beautiful vaulted ceilings, but we wanted to bring things down to a more intimate scale. An oversized woven chandelier and moody built-ins added the warmth and presence it needed. One of the biggest transformations, though, was improving the connection between the upstairs bedroom wing and the main living areas. By reworking a few key doorways, we created better circulation and carved out a much-needed mud hall—because what modern family doesn’t need a place to drop bags, boots, and everything in between? That hall originally had soaring ceilings that felt too grand for a utilitarian pass through. Bonus, dropping it to 9’ allowed us to add a generous second-level storage room! Swipe through to walk the new layout—floor plans are at the end! ✨

After 👉🏻 Before Watching this room open up has been such a rewarding transformation. Beyond thrilled with how very detail shines and grateful for the opportunity these clients honored me with to make this drab 1990s home referent their personal style and needs. A huge thank you to @solabeeflowers for taking my last-minute request and creating this showstopper arrangement. It was the perfect finishing touch and brought my entire vision to life. 🤍🌾 📷✨: @jayfram #forestparkfixer #AnnetteLewisDesign #BeforeAndAfter #KitchenRemodel #PortlandInteriors

This fireplace refresh is all about subtle texture. Natural Carrara marble, soft plush carpet, and blackout linen window treatments create a quiet, tonal palette that feels calm and effortlessly refined. 📷✨: @jayfram #annettelewisdesign #PortlandInteriorDesigner #PDXDesign #PDXHomes #PortlandRenovation #PNWInteriors #NeighborhoodDesigner #DesignBuildPDX #PrimarySuite #FireplaceRefresh #ToneOnTone #LayeredTextures #PrimarySuiteDesign #FireplaceUpdate #MarbleFireplace #CarraraMarble #LinenDrapery #PlushCarpet #ModernClassicHome #NeutralPalette #InteriorDesignInspo #forestparkfixer

After 👉🏻 Before From dated to dreamy — this primary bath transformation swapped builder-basic finishes for warmth, texture, and modern elegance. We replaced the oversized mirror and Hollywood bulbs with a balanced composition of twin medicine cabinets and reeded glass sconces. The new white oak vanity features reeded detailing for subtle texture, paired with a marble top and timeless polished nickel plumbing fixtures. And that carpeted floor? Gone in favor of timeless natural limestone tile that adds both texture and charm. Proof that thoughtful design can completely reimagine how a space feels. 💫 📷✨: @jayfram #BeforeAndAfter #BathroomRemodel #PortlandInteriors #DesignBuild #ModernCrafted #PrimaryBath #ReededVanity #TileTransformation #WarmMinimalism #InteriorDesignPortland #annettelewisdesign #forestparkfixer

Bob Rummer’s personal residence, 1966, Southwest Portland. A wall of glass blurs the line between living room and back patio – swipe ➡️ for inside view. Firewood stacked outside the window because this is the PNW and winter is coming. Trick question: why am I not reflected in the exterior glass? @mel_dorman #BobRummer #RummerHomes #MidcenturyModern #PortlandArchitecture #architecturePhotography #NorthwestModern #midcenturyLiving #insideOutside #PostAndBeam #northwestregionalstyle @rummerdev

Master bath with philodendron in the 1966 home Bob Rummer built for himself. Wood ceilings and teak paneling (which eats light for breakfast) made this surprisingly tricky to photograph for a glass house. I thought it would be a stroll in the park and I thought wrong. Still love the result. Swipe ➡️ for a wide bedroom and original galley kitchen. #BobRummer #RummerHome #MidcenturyModern #PortlandArchitecture #architecturalPhotography #modernist #interiorPhotography #bathroomDesign #midcenturyInteriors #ModernHome #PortlandDesign #NorthwestModern #OregonArchitecture #archilovers @modernhomesportland @mel_dorman
