NEW CLASS ALERT:- The incredible Jaye Elster is teaching her new Theatre Jazz Class starting Friday 10th April 3pm. Teaching exclusively for Pineapple, Jaye Elster returns to London with her signature Theatre Jazz class. Created in response to demand, these 90 minutes focus on what dancers have asked for: more dancing, more escapism, and more opportunities to keep your brain sharp. With a shorter warm-up than most classes, we cut straight to the combo - just like in the audition room. Feel-good theatre choreography is taught clearly and given the time it needs to move from first learning to performance-ready, leaving the final 15 minutes for you to let rip into the combo. Graduates - keep firing.Pros - stay fresh. Week by week, watch audition nerves begin to fade as “cutting to the combo” starts to feel second nature. No filming unless announced one week in advance. Book the Class via our PINEAPPLE DANCE STUDIOS App or the website “Studio Classes”tab:- pineapple.uk.com Choreography: @jayeelster_choreography Dancers: @jayeelster & @onlyowen_ Videography & Edit: @reflexmediaproductions #pineappledancestudios #debbiemooreobe #danceclassesinlondon #choreography #theatrejazz

High Society, Mill at Sonning 2023/24: The Landscape Series What’s On Stage: “Elster’s dances are exhilaratingly athletic but feel period-appropriate” The Stage: “Jaye Elster’s wild choreography, reinvigorates a show that might otherwise reek of nostalgia” The Times: “Jaye Elster’s glorious choreography really does convince us we’re at the swellest of swell parties”

What “cleaning up after each other” will look like for EJ and Tom… ✨ Sweeping her feet off the ground ✨ Picking his jaw up off the floor! And they lived happily ever after xx

Read something today. It got me thinking (always dangerous). But it was a lovely thought and so, I’m sharing / wanting to remember … “Barbara Fredrickson writes in Love 2.0 (2013), love ‘blossoms virtually anytime two or more people – even strangers – connect over a shared positive emotion, be it mild or strong.’ When we sync up with others, we experience micro-moments of love.” Words like ‘love’ are too often withheld for large timescales like months, years or decades. But we live our lives in moments, and love can be a moment. Without recognition of “micro-moments of love” though, we risk failing to pay attention to them or feeling them at all. Don’t take the risk. Pay attention to the moment 💛

For about a year, my camera roll has been nothing but work video references, which I don’t take for granted still… It’s nice to see a new trend in the library - a whole heck of good times… To be continued.
