Angeles as he revisits the life and loss of his older brother Jerem Angeles (aka Germ) who was killed in a gang-related shooting nearly two decades ago. This film is a love letter to brotherhood, grief, and resilience. About growing up Filipino-American in 1990s California. Gang culture, not as violence, but as a search for belonging. About healing what was never said. The Bay Area Been working on a special project with my homies recently. And it has been an inspiring journey to actually commit to.
