Some conversations can’t wait another generation. 🎬 WE'RE LIVE! Today we officially launch our crowdfunding campaign for GERM, an intimate documentary following J.R. Angeles as he revisits the life and loss of his older brother Jerem Angeles (aka Germ) who was killed in a gang-related shooting nearly two decades ago. This film is a love letter to brotherhood, grief, and resilience. About growing up Filipino-American in 1990s California. Gang culture, not as violence, but as a search for belonging. About healing what was never said. We’re honored to launch this campaign as part of the Seed&Spark x Gold House AAPI Renaissance Rally, uplifting powerful stories from the Asian and Pacific Islander community. To support our film, please: ❤️ Follow us on Seed&Spark (link in bio) – Help us reach 350 followers to for a chance of 10k as the finalist! 🌱 Donate if you can 📣 Share this post to help amplify Southeast Asian stories that rarely get told This story is personal, raw, and urgent — and we can’t do it without you. 🙏 #GERMdocumentary #SeedAndSpark #GoldHouse #FilmIndependent #AAPIrally #FilipinoAmerican #AsianAmericanStories #SoutheastAsianVoices #documentaryfilm #supportindiefilm #healingthroughfilm #familylegacy

The Bay Area Been working on a special project with my homies recently. And it has been an inspiring journey to actually commit to. It’s a long project but hoping that the outcome of it becomes something that is meaningful. For now, there’s still a lot of work to do. More to come on it soon on it. #Jerem 📸: @frfrfrancis
