To Da Army
There’s nothing I wouldn’t do for y’all, and I mean that with everything I have. You’ve helped me in more ways than you’ll ever fully know, and that’s something I carry with me every single day.
12 guys I can call at any moment, at any hour, and not one of them would hesitate. They’d drop everything, no questions asked. Do you know how rare that is? That’s not just a chapter. That’s not just a fraternity. That’s realbrotherhood.
I’m not just proud to be a part of this, I’m grateful. Genuinely, deeply grateful. Because bonds like this don’t come around often, and I don’t take a single one of you for granted.

To Яebirth
The growth I’ve witnessed from you all is something special. You took the words, applied them, and made this chapter environment something to be proud of.
You are called Яebirth for a reason, you don’t just carry the name, you live it. Proud to be one of the ones who helped bring you in, and even prouder watching you step into who you’re meant to be.
You are the leaders now. Wear that with pride and keep running the ball.

To The New Order
Bringing y’all in was the best decision I ever made.
The love I have for these guys is something I can’t even put into words. I’d do anything for every single one of them without a second thought, that’s just what it is.
But what excites me most is what’s coming. Watching y’all move on this campus, build something real, and leave a mark that people will feel long after y’all are gone. That’s what I’m here for. That potential y’all carry is real, not just something I’m saying. I see it every day in how y’all move, how y’all grow, how y’all show up for each other.
Y’all have everything it takes to be one of those lines people talk about for years. And I already know y’all gone live up to it.

To Pros
Real ones. That’s the only way I know how to describe y’all.
Appreciate y’all for taking a chance on us and trusting that we’d do something with it. Y’all didn’t just open the door, y’all left us with everything we needed to walk through it the right way.
And we didn’t just walk through it. We made a great thing even greater.
-HO11OW POINT
To the Marching Force,
Words cannot describe how much being a part of band has truly shaped my Hampton experience. Since the day I first stepped on campus for band camp, I was met with open arms and embraced by a group of people who looked at everyone as family. I’ve made lifelong friends because of band, traveled across the country, and most importantly, created so many lasting memories. I couldn’t be more thankful for the three years I was a part of it.
To SAX-O-MATIC,
I don’t have to say too much about you guys, this is the family inside the family. Genuinely my day ones, and words cannot express how much I love and appreciate you all for making my experience here at Hampton one to remember. From being a freshman and always having a safe place to go at 11B, to now having a place close to campus where we can kick it and throw some food on the grill, it’s been nothing short of a blessing, and I wouldn’t trade a single moment of it for anything in the world.
On May 8th, I graduated from the illustrious Hampton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communications. What a journey these past 4 years have been, and to think there was a time when I wasn’t even sure if I wanted to go to college. But I am so thankful for my mom and my high school band director, because those two women are the reason I can call myself a college graduate. And not only that, but a graduate from one of the best HBCUs in the nation.
Thank you, Hampton, for 4 wonderful years where I got to grow as an individual, meet people I can genuinely call family, and be exposed to an environment where every single day I could see Black men and women succeeding in a light that isn’t highlighted to this extent anywhere else.
There is something undeniably powerful about walking across a campus where excellence is the standard, not the exception. Where your professors look like you, your mentors believe in you before you even believe in yourself, and the legacy of every graduate who came before you is woven into the very ground you walk on. HBCUs don’t just educate, they restore. They remind you of who you are, where you come from, and just how far you are destined to go.
To every Black student who ever doubted whether they belonged in higher education, you do. To every first-generation graduate pushing through, we see you. And to my fellow Hampton graduates: we didn’t just earn a degree. We carried the dreams of our ancestors across that stage.
We are Hampton built, HBCU strong, and Black excellence in motion, and this is only the beginning. To God be the glory.
Commissioned as an Active Duty Logistics Officer on May 7, 2026. Grateful to God, my family, friends, mentors, and everyone who stood by me throughout this journey. This achievement represents years of hard work, sacrifice, discipline, and unwavering support from those who believed in me even during the toughest moments. Excited for what’s ahead and honored to step into this next chapter with purpose, pride, and a commitment to serve.
They said it couldn’t be done. They said it shouldn’t be done. Words not unlike those spoken long ago, when seven men in the dead of winter dared to build something the world wasn’t ready for.
But just like those who came before you, you defied every odd stacked against you. You endured. You persevered. And through every hardship, every moment of doubt, you made it through.
UTARATIBU WA MPYA. THE NEW ORDER.
This is not just a name. This is you. All 20 of you, the living, breathing embodiment of what it means to be chosen for a purpose greater than yourself.
You are the change this campus has been waiting for. And you weren’t stumbled upon, you were destined for this. So carry that. Let it mean something.
This journey has been one of the greatest honors of my life. I wouldn’t trade a single moment of it. You are my brothers. My family. And I will spend the rest of my days watching you change this campus, change this world
proud to have been part of where it all began.
I love y’all. Always.
