This time the 2 day workshop is specially designed for singers who have trained for at least 3 years and onwards ! Even the singers who are professionals can join as this is going to be one of a kind workshop on somewhat less focused element of music (as singers) that is - Rhythm and obviously Accuracy of it ! With the blessings of Gurus, Parents and true well-wishers, by God’s grace, Because of the deep connection of my heart with HIS (Sir ARR) music since I was 12, and with the trust of the selectors’ panel, I got this huge fortune to become a part of this first of its kind band of immensely talented multi-faceted classical vocalists called ‘Jhālaa’. (Meaning : An upbeat high tempo crescendo climactic way of playing string instruments like sitar, sarod etc.) In the light of The ‘Bharat Maestro Awards’, A R Rahman Sir and team handpicked the 12 gems from the ocean of young Indian classical musicians and formed ‘Jhālaa’ to present, conserve and flourish the Indian classical tradition of rich Rāga - Music in today’s world of changing tastes and uncertainty of audience’s response with all their faith in it and in us artists! The moment I got selected through the auditioning process, I was overwhelmed with the feeling ‘with great trust comes great responsibility’!!🙏🏻😊 ‘Jhālaa’ was very fortunate to have launched in the ‘Waves 2025’ at NMACC, Mumbai on 1st May 2025 and has evidently got a huge kick-start in terms of love and response it received from everyone there!
