one thing about my job is that everything comes in funky packaging and i end up with a lot of it so i wanted to try and start using what would be trash for something cool and i made this! yay :)
this is my blanket! it’s a project i started a long time ago and never had the effort to finish. when i first learned to crochet i was so excited about yarn that i was buying every cute, cool or funky one i saw, and only using some. the blanket was an attempt to use some excess, that ended up sitting rolled up and untouched for months with only half a ball of yarn used. this july i found her again and was inspired to bring it with me to be able to have something to do on the train, and i’ve been working on her since. she’s been all around california in her creation process, by train and car from redding to san diego. yippee! she’s finally done but i already want to start another.
i made a little blanket for my family’s new baby bunny, vanilla bean :) it’s a small blanket for her to lay on while they hold her in their lap :))) yay
