Less than 2 months ago, I asked @chefbigmikesfood if an event like what we had, can happen, in a short amount of time. Then I reached out to @rebootbeatzfoundation for guidance and help with the planning and finding an organization to help and collab with. This event was to start and create an event out here in the 209 area, catering to local vendors and helping out the community. The Organization - Tracy Community Connections Center - helping out homeless and people at risk Then we got some local vendors who were interested in being a part of the event: @mabuhaygrindz @ricktherulerjerky @freezetheeze_by4evrchangd @teresagraceshop @elevatedgemstones @djdaricb @kabakrisps @vizions209 @its_lit_prints @chefbigmikesfood @preciousukits @eternalinxbyrey Los Reyes Taco Truck @bayboysbrewing I asked DJs if they were available to bless this event with their talent: @dj_crowdcontrol @d1dru @dtjamslive @therealthaitiger @djglennaure @christiancejaproduceinc came through and recommended Bay Boys Brewing as the venue. After 8 weeks of preparing, April 26, 2026 - SPIN IT FORWARD happened. I loved seeing all the vendors interact with each other and supporting one another. I am thankful for the ones who donated and brought items to the event. Whether you were part of the setting up and breaking down process, a vendor, a DJ, staff, supporter - you took time from your day to be there, to help, to be a part of something that can grow. That is time you will never get back, and you spent it with us. Thank you to @imagine.asking & @_mizzj_ for the cases of Energy. Thank you @j0_lyn for printing out the vendor names so vendors knew where they were going to be setting up. I didn’t use any of them, haha.
