On today’s episode of So Yoruba….. I paid a courtesy visit to my adopted son, @mikeageworld who recently got traditionally hitched to my dearest Anna💕 @jayanszn I was invited to their new home and couldn’t resist capturing the moment. Just to share a little backstory, I met Mike through a big sister when he shot her music video. At the time, I was also working on my own project and was introduced to him professionally. What started as a simple business connection gradually blossomed into something much deeper, a beautiful mother-and-son bond. Life has a way of turning ordinary meetings into meaningful relationships. I’m truly grateful to be part of this journey and to witness this new chapter in his life💕

A Little Reintroduction For Those Who Met Me as Just an Influencer/Content Creator. Hi, I’m Anna James aka Jayan. Some of you may have come to know me in my late 20s as a content creator or influencer, but my journey started way before that. I officially stepped into the entertainment industry in 2016 through music (bless you @frankiewalterofficial ) for holding my hands from the beginning and helping me out with my music name JAYAN. Music opened doors for me, took me places, and earned me recognition. But somewhere along the line, I became my own toughest critic, a full-on perfectionist. Still, I kept building my social media presence, all the way from Benue State. It felt almost accidental, like something I never really planned… but it was happening. Along the way, I transitioned naturally into content creation. That’s when the struggle began being multi-talented started to feel like a burden. Without realizing it, I became fully immersed in content creation. Music slowly started to take a back seat. Content creation was easier, and the money was coming in 😩🙈😅😮‍💨😆 just for posting videos? I told myself, “Let me use this to fund my music career. When I’m ready, I’ll return to the music.” My brothers and sisters… years flew by 🙈.The money I was hoping to make never quite added up the way I imagined 😅. But now, I’m back. For real. This time, I’m not letting perfectionism silence my God given talent. So here I am doing a proper reintroduction. I’m not just an influencer. I’m a singer, a storyteller, a creator and I’m embracing it all. Being multi-talented isn’t a crime. I’ll keep showing up, doing what I love, and giving it my all.
