Sooooo
A few things
1. I’m more of a freestyle dancer. Learning choreography in an hour is very much a work in progress for mee.
2. While learning, I’ll hit the choreography “right” a time or two, but put a camera in front of me… say bye bye to all the moves because they just exited stage left.
3. This class in particular, I felt more relaxed. I just wanted to have fun. I messed up plenty of times before and it was ok. I set small goals and focused more on that instead of feeling like I needed to be ready to go on tour with Beyoncé.
4. I noticed myself smile in this video, naturally. It was just there. That was a WIN.
5. The lil ladies In the front are the cutest! ☺️

Thank you Lord for blessing me with another year of life! 8/21 🎉🎉🎉
Some things I’ve learned/ reminders
1. There is no moment where you have it all figured out. What I do know is that, there is power in access. The things you access, and what you allow to have access to you. Every moment you have a choice. You can choose peace or chaos.
2. We often confuse peace with comfort. True peace leads to freedom. Comfort and familiarity often leads to stagnation and cycles.
3. You absolutely have to be willing to walk away from ppl, places, things, and mindsets that are not in God’s will for you. Not just once but time and time again, DESIRES included. The moment something becomes an idol, you give it power and control.
4. My values and morals are not up for discussion or compromise and I must be really clear with myself first and foremost on what they are.
5. Continuing to give myself grace while still holding myself accountable. No one is coming to save me because someone already DID. I get to live in that salvation and I have a responsibility to that partnership. To show up and steward it well.
So grateful for what the Lord is doing in this moment and also for what’s to come!
Exodus 20: 1-3
And God spake all these words, saying,
I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
