It was a blast. By the grace of God, I managed 4 rounds bogey-free, hot round 3 out of the 4 rounds, and played with a bunch of my friends the whole time. I got to play with the same 3 rock-solid dudes in both rounds on Sunday, who also finished #2, 3, & 4. (2-Jody Westover, 3-Josh McKisic, T4-Matt Vivirito)

when you put a ring on it because she drives that honda element like a friggin bat outta hell...your toll for said trophy wifery may be having to replace broken sway bar end links for 20min every few years or so 🤷🏼
well, after a few not so great tournament rounds over the last month...went the wrong way a few ticks. probably a combo of that and having a few good ones fall off from last year. but it's allgood. last months update was my personal best ever, so that's still pretty cool.
also, I feel like a player rating needs to be looked at like a 401k, and that it's just trending in the right direction overall, rather than hawking it every single month for every little ebb and flow. one more month to go for my pie in the sky #1000ratedby2025 goal, but 15 points in one update is a big ask. I am just as okay with hitting this goal in 2026. I have a few inconsistencies in my game that i know need some work, and one of my big focuses in 2026 will be attacking specific aspects that I know need work and overcoming them, rather than just playing all the time like I have been. no matter if we go #1000ratedby2025 or #1000ratedby2026 ...i'll certainly be grateful and humbled when i get there, and thanking God everday until that glorious 2nd Tuesday of whatever month it falls on.
