While the rest of the UK was stuck in motorway traffic, we were at the @portsmouthguildhall watching the @kerrangradio stage get absolutely dismantled. It’s a bold choice to name your band “Kill The Lights” when the sun is still screaming through the windows, but they brought enough heavy to turn 5 PM into midnight. 🌑🎸
If this is how @takedownfestival starts the weekend, I’m not sure I’ll survive until Monday.

What a great tour! Thank you to everyone who came! 🙌 And thank you to @s4zzle for this awesome edit. Repost: Kill The Lights at KK’s Steel Mill Thursday night... yeah, I’m still buzzing. Proper graft of a band. No coasting, no filler, just straight in and didn’t let up for a second. Tight, loud, and fi all the right ways.
They didn’t just play-they delivered. Every track hit harder live. You could feel it in your chest, not just hear with that dazed, slightly feral energy you only get from a genuinely good gig. Ears ringing, hair a state, voice somewhere on the floor... wouldn’t change a thing.
